Aircraft selection is the most important strategic planning work of airlines, which is related to the economic interests and even life and death of airlines. At present, the workload of aircraft selection is large, and a large number of typical routes need to be selected, which leads to low work efficiency, especially the lack of quantitative matching between the comprehensive performance of aircraft types and the operation adaptability of typical routes; It is subjective and uncertain, and has not formed a scientific system; Therefore, this paper establishes an aircraft selection method based on the matching of typical routes, and forms an efficient and scientific aircraft selection decision-making method by extracting typical routes representing each market segment and optimizing the matching of alternative models. The specific research contents include:(1)Route market segmentation based on improved k-means clustering. This paper designs a route market segmentation method based on improved k-menas clustering, and analyzes the characteristics of route market segmentation of an airline company.Select passenger flow, passenger nature(business and leisure),flight distance and ticket price as important indicators to reflect the market attributes of civil aircraft routes, and obtain the market segmentation of civil aircraft routes.Using the elbow rule,it is obtained that after the long route is divided into 4 categories, the medium route is divided into 3 categories and the short route is divided into 2 categories,K-means clustering is used to cluster each route respectively, and the market segmentation characteristics are analyzed in combination with passenger flow, passenger nature(business and leisure)and ticket price.(2)Analysis of technical performance factors.Analyze the main technical performance indexes that affect the aircraft selection, especially the airport operation adaptability and route operation adaptability, mainly involving the airport pavement bearing capacity, takeoff and landing performance data, maximum takeoff and landing weight limit, continuous takeoff performance after one engine failure interruption, and route safety operation performance, including block time and fuel consumption, flight load, floating and falling oxygen supply performance,etc.(3)Transportation capacity planning based on the optimal allocation of production resources. With the goal of maximizing the operating profit of the route network, the Euclidean distance is used to select the typical routes of each segment market, calculate the route parameters, and weight them according to the turnover.Taking the route traffic volume, time resources, aircraft and crew utilization as constraints, the route network capacity optimization allocation model is constructed to determine the optimal fleet planning scheme.(4)Empirical analysis of aircraft selection scheme of aviation company.Select the route market of an airline company as the object, optimize the transportation capacity of the "virtual" route network composed of typical routes representing each segment market, obtain the aircraft selection scheme, and compare it with the current fleet composition of the airline company to verify the effectiveness of the scheme.
