| With the popularity of the Chinese trend,Chinese elements have become an important object of visual expression in current design cases.In this paper,we use the "image tracing" method to investigate the visual expression of Chinese elements in current design cases,and explore the Chinese cultural genes in design cases from the visual expression of different cases;reveal the cultural phenomenon of Chinese elements in current design before and after the first year of the national trend.A total of seven research subjects of two different types were selected,including four excellent domestic fashion brands Li Ning,Mark Fairwhale,MUKZIN,and JEMO DRESSING,and three excellent domestic cultural platforms Made In Natural,Miao Hand Hui Chao,and TRADITIONOW.Twenty-nine series of sample cases are selected from the seven research subjects,and the specific research content seeks to cover the dynamic timeline and the scope involving Chinese elements,and the research is carried out in an image-tracking manner.The viewpoint of this paper is that Chinese elements are not simply elemental symbols,but a cultural product phenomenon above the commercial value of a brand using the brand view conveyed visually,combined and transformed by the design language,with Chinese cultural genes.The two different types of cases studied are carriers of the visual expression of Chinese elements,which not only undertake the transformation and integration of Chinese elements in current design,but also carry the role of cultural communication.The thesis is developed in a combination of graphic and textual approaches,where images and texts are combined to sort out and analyze the information provided by the specific cases,presenting the real and concrete patterns of combining Chinese elements with the dynamic development of modern aesthetics in the cases,perceiving the cultural phenomenon of using brands as the carrier and culture as the language to inherit oriental aesthetics in a trendy and innovative way in the context of national trends,and then exploring the value of Chinese elements embodied in contemporary design.This study draws from the exploration of specific cases from an iconographic perspective that the visual expression of Chinese elements in contemporary design cases is not just about design,but about the relationship between design and culture.Chinese elements are a dynamic and developing concept.Chinese elements are composed of inherent Chinese elements,traditional Chinese cultural elements and modern Chinese cultural elements.The massive use of Chinese elements in national trend design is actually a deep cultural identity.The visual expression of Chinese elements in current design cases provides design thinking and Chinese solutions to help brands go international. |
