Research On The Application Of Chinese Style Elements To Interior Ornament

Tra ditional Chinese ornament elements provide a great art treasure for modern interior ornament design. Evolving and developing from thousands of years of history, traditional Chinese elements have its unique aesthetical perspectives and cultural contents. It has profound culture protection significance as well as a positive realistic meaning.This paper discusses application of Chinese elements to interior ornament design, then analyzes the component system and abstracts application methods of Chinese style elements.The content of this paper can be divided into the following 7 sections:Section 1 gives the research background, aims, meanings and methods of this subject. Meanwhile, it outlines the architecture of this paper.Section 2 examples some representative work and arguments and introduces application theory of Chinese style elements including basic meanings, general content and artistic researches of Chinese style elements and ornaments which provides theoretical preconditions and foundation for practical application.Section 3 researches into of Chinese style elements and details meanings of them.Section 4 analyzes cultural containments of Chinese style elements. Influenced deeply by Chinese traditional culture, the timeline Chinese style elements are clearly related to evolution of Chinese history.Section 5 firstly studies application of several classic Chinese style elements to interior ornament. Then three typical application methods are interpreted. At last, we summarize how Chinese elements can be adopted to modern interior ornament design.Section 6 analyzes the evolution and innovation of Chinese style elements application to modern interior ornament design and discusses some application examples.Section 7 interprets application ways of Chinese style elements to modern interior ornament design and further introduces the important role played by Chinese style elements in regional culture expression.
