With the rapid development of automobile industry and people’s standard of living rise increasingly,car ownership in china is also increased significantly,more and more people pay attention to the automobile driving safety problem.It is necessary to test the safety performance of the automobile to ensure the automobile driving safety.Brake,as the main means to avoid risks in the car driving,the stability of braking performance directly affects the automobile driving safety.Brake performance testing has undoubtedly become the top priority of the detection project,the accuracy of the test results become the focus of concern of the testing agencies and the owner.The car itself is a complicated moving body,combined with the automobile braking process is very complicated,the longitudinal force of the tire reduces the speed of the automobile,the lateral force of the tire is also an important factor that affects the braking performance of the automobile at the braking time.Based on this,the paper will study on the lateral force of the tire during the automobile is braking on plat brake tester.Firstly,this paper analyzed the mechanism of the plate brake performance testing,and combined with the testing process of the existing plat brake tester,the lateral force testing system based on plat brake is designed,including the model design based on 3D drawing software,the hardware design of test data acquisition system,improved the calibration device and calibration method.Based on Car Sim,a simulation model of automobile braking condition is established,which is verified the accuracy of the model test data.Through the Simulink module,the braking simulation model is established,and the united simulation model of Car Sim and Simulink is established,this simplifies the modeling process and facilitates subsequent analysis.Through the simulation and real automobile test,it is proved that the lateral force exists in the automobile braking,and the lateral force of the different braking initial velocity is different.Errors are existed when the braking direction deviation angle occurs during the plate brake performance testing.The application of the lateral force testing system and the braking direction deviation angle testing device can improve the accuracy of braking performance testing,through the following experiments and analysis of data,we can establish a more accurate compensation method to do a more reasonable evaluation.When the braking direction deviation angle does not deviated during the plate brake performance testing.By checking the lateral force of the tire,the automobile braking stability is evaluated.According to the data to evaluate the automobile may be instability factors,to provide guidance for automobile braking safety.This text aims at developing new ideas based on the existing detection equipment technology and methods,with modest force for the detection of the development of the industry.
