Country Park Design Based On Habitat Of Small Mammals

The global biodiversity crisis has made people gradually realize the importance of urban biodiversity.The reduction of habitat scale and habitat fragmentation caused by urban construction constantly raise the survival challenge of urban wildlife.With the advance of the concept of ecological city construction,considering the construction of wildlife habitat in all kinds of urban green space has become an important issue in today’s society.From the perspective of habitat construction of small mammals,this study aims to explore the planning and design methods of reintegrating natural biological habitat space into urban green space.To clarify the research progress of wildlife habitat construction and country park construction at home and abroad,elaborate the research significance and related concepts,conduct research on recreation behavior of country parks,sort out the relationship between country parks and wildlife habitat,and discuss the impact of recreation behavior on wildlife.Based on the research on habitat construction methods of small mammals,the target species screening methods based on the focus species theory were introduced.Taking the study area as an example,three target species(E.amurensis,M.sibirica,and S.davidianus)were screened out,and the habitat influencing factors,habitat environment construction and habitat management of them were analyzed in detail.Based on the analysis of relevant cases,the design method of country park based on habitat construction of small mammals was studied,the problems faced by habitat construction of country parks and countermeasures were identified,and the research results were transformed and applied to the site design of Dongxiaokou Forest Park in Beijing.As a supplementary branch of the theme of biodiversity conservation and promotion,this study focuses on the connection between the theory of habitat construction for small mammals and site design,which has practical significance for improving the functionality of country parks,guiding social ecological awareness and promoting popular science education of wildlife protection.
