Research On Joint-inventory Optimization Of P Company’s Multi-warehouse Based On GA

With the development of our economy and the improvement of people’s income,family car ownership is growing year by year,has now become the largest car manufacturers focus.Optimizing the inventory management method of auto parts can accelerate the inventory turnover rate,further save the inventory cost,accelerate the service response speed,improve customer satisfaction and loyalty,and thus further enhance the corporate image.However,in today’s diversified market environment with fierce competition,consumer demand changes increasingly uncertain,diversified and dynamic.Such external environment makes the inventory management of automobile after-sale parts enterprises face unprecedented challenges.How to timely supply goods without affecting the normal production activities of upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain needs to view the relationship between the inventory quantity of the whole supply chain and customer demand from a systematic perspective.This paper is based on the research on the inventory management of auto service parts under the supply chain environment,relying on the actual situation of P Company.According to the analysis of the current situation of P Company’s auto parts inventory management,according to the historical data,it finds the unreasonable place of its inventory strategy,and puts forward the inventory management mode suitable for P Company’s auto parts: multi-warehouse joint inventory control strategy.And combined with the theory of inventory control,set up more joint warehouse inventory optimization model,by using the Matlab genetic algorithm method to determine the order quantity and allocation,using the analytical method to evaluate the safety stock and reorder point,then compared with the original way analysis,proves that the new inventory strategy can indeed reduce inventory ordering cost,reduce the number of parts order warehouse.Three actual parts in P company’s warehouse were selected for verification.Through the direct comparison of the result data,the feasibility of the multi-warehouse joint inventory model based on GA was proved in practice.In this paper,combining the theory of supply chain management and inventory control theory,a multi-warehouse joint inventory optimization model is proposed.Through the example verification,it is found that this model can not only help P company to reduce the order cost and order quantity,but also can be applied to different enterprises in other industries,which has a very significant practical value.
