As a fundamental physical quantity,the measurement of acceleration has a long history and it has been widely applied in people’s life and production.In most industrial fields,it is necessary to detect the acceleration of the moving object,so as to determine whether the state of the equipment is in accordance with the requirements of the safety specification,especially in the power system,the speed and acceleration of the overhead transmission lines are also important parameters to reflect the safe operation of the wire;in the navigation system,the physical characteristics of the moving object,i.e.position,speed and acceleration can be obtained by the real time measurement of the acceleration vector.At present,the high precision accelerometer at home and abroad usually uses the electrostatic suspension mode,but the electrostatic suspension accelerometer also has the problems of high difficulty in processing,small dynamic range and difficulty to further improve the precision.Therefore,we put forward a new way to realize the high precision acceleration measurement by using the magnetic suspension mode.In this paper,the principle of the accelerometer is introduced,and the development and research status of the representative high precision accelerometer,as well as the ground testing method of the suspended accelerometer are described.A new type of high precision magnetic suspension accelerometer is proposed.The two important components of the system are introduced,i.e.the magnetic displacement sensing system and the magnetic suspension control system.The measurement principle and method of the translational displacement and rotation angle of the proof mass are introduced,and the magnetic suspension control for its translational and rotational regression is also introduced.Finally,the principle of the proposed magnetic suspension accelerometer is verified experimentally,and the four sub schemes,including the translational displacement,the rotation angle,the displacement and rotation regression control of the proof mass,are designed.After replication experiments,the experimental results show that the principle of the magnetic levitation accelerometer proposed in this paper is feasible,the technical scheme is operable and the precision of the instrument is expected to reach a higher level.
