| Luoyang Jianxi Industrial Zone has a profound historical background and laid the foundation for the early industrial development of New China.Its supporting residential area is also called "neighborhood".There are more than 70 neighborhoods in the whole Jianxi Industrial Zone,of which 36 neighborhoods were completed during the "First Five-Year Plan" period.These buildings are mainly low-rise sloping roof and brick-concrete structures,with distinctive features of the former Soviet Union industrial architecture.At present,the proportion of elderly residents in the residential area is relatively high.However,due to the lower building codes of the early residential areas,the infrastructures were poor for the elderly.Therefore,this article conducts research on the external space reconstruction of Luoyang old industrial settlements.The first chapter is the introduction,including the research background,research objects and concepts,related literature,research purposes and significance,research methods and main content of this article.The second chapter is the theoretical basic research,which analyzes the specific content of active aging from the basic concepts,connotation,development process,related policies and research status.Emphasize the definition and basic needs of active aging on "health"," indemnification " and "participation".Then it focuses on the social participation of the elderly,and interprets it from the perspectives of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,role theory and activity theory.The third chapter analyzes the needs of the elderly for external space,and classifies the elderly by age and self-care ability.First analyze the specific needs of various types of elderly,and then obtain the factors that affect the willingness of elderly residents to participate in outdoor activities.Analyze the characteristics of the elderly from the aspects of physiological function,social psychology and behavioral activities,and obtain the relationship between the characteristics and the external space,and provide the basis for the external space reconstruction of the residential area.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristics of residents and the status quo of external space in Luoyang old industrial settlements.Start with an introduction to Luoyang’s old industrial settlements’ urban pattern,historical development,architectural styles and pension policies.Then,through questionnaires and interviews,summarize the general characteristics and activity habits of elderly residents.Finally,summarize the problem of external space from backward infrastructure,lack of vitality in residential areas,and damage to historical features.The fifth chapter proposes design principles and reconstruction strategies.Based on the concept of active aging,proposing the design principles of external space such as diversified functions,participation and communication,activity area,weakening of aging,safety and health,comfort and convenience.And then through the analysis of domestic and foreign related cases,proposing the external space reconstruction strategy.The last chapter takes the No.1 neighborhood of Jianxi Industrial Zone in Luoyang as an example,the external space reconstruction is carried out from three aspects: functional layout updating,infrastructure design and industrial cultural promoting.Mainly based on the design principles and reconstruction strategies,combined with the analysis of the characteristics of the elderly residents in Luoyang old industrial residential areas and the current situation of the residential areas.From the perspective of active aging,this article conducts an on-site survey of Luoyang old industrial settlements.According to the basic needs of the elderly and the development status of the Jianxi Industrial Zone,reconstructing the external space of the residential area,improving the infrastructures,increasing the industrial cultural atmosphere.Accordingly enhance belonging and happiness of elderly residents. |
