| Yunnan is located in an earthquake-prone area.In order to reduce casualties and property losses caused by earthquakes,Yunnan Province has issued a number of documents to promote seismic reduction and isolation technology since 2017,commanding that this technology must be adopted in the construction of key fortified buildings,so it has also been widely used in building structures.In this thesis,taking an outpatient building with torsional irregular structure as an example,the author carries out a study on the analysis of the seismic reduction with the aid of metal damper and viscous damper.Firstly,the software of YJK is used to establish a model,and a comparative analysis is conducted with the application of the mode-superposition response spectrum.Then,the analysis of the seismic reduction is carried out with the aid of Midas Gen software and the adoption of the method of time history analysis.And finally,the calculation results of the two damping schemes are obtained and compared.What is mainly studied in this thesis includes:(1)The research status of the two dampers is summarized.(2)The damping design method and process applied in this thesis are summarized.(3)Taking the outpatient building of a hospital with torsional irregular building structure as an example,the author proposes two damping schemes of adding metal damper and viscous damper in accordance with relevant regulations and requirements,and carries on the damping design of the building with the aid of the software of YJK and the adoption of mode-superposition response spectrum method.(4)Using Midas Gen software,the author established the finite element models of the original structure,and that attached with metal damper and viscous damper are established respectively,and obtains the dynamic response of the model adopting time history analysis method.As is shown in the study,additional metal damper and viscous damper bring self-evident damping effect on the steel structure,and therefore the seismic performance of the outpatient building meets the set damping target.Considering that the metal damper can add certain stiffness to the structure,improve the torsional irregularity of the structure and is of great economical efficiency as well,the damping scheme of adding shear metal damper is finally fixed for the project.The research provides a reference for the seismic design of the torsion irregularity of reinforced concrete structures with shear metal dampers in areas with high seismic intensity.(5)The research content is summarized and further research direction is put forward. |
