With the acceleration of urbanization and the increase of car ownership in China,people pay more and more attention to the problem of urban road traffic noise pollution.Model simulation plays an important role in the management of traffic noise as an important tool for road traffic noise assessment and prediction.The complexity of urban road traffic noise model calculation,as well as the dense urban road network and buildings,are important reasons for the long time spent on model calculation.In the past,the model was mostly applied to the evaluation of regional road traffic noise or urban planning and construction,which required low model computational efficiency.However,with the effective development of Internet of Things technology and the construction of smart cities and smart transportation,the new application form of urban road traffic noise model has higher requirements for model timeliness,and more efficient model calculation methods are urgently needed.In addition,the complex and changing urban environment makes it difficult for a single model to be applied to various areas of the city,and most of the research at this stage is focused on model simulation studies of special areas of the city,and there is a lack of research on the overall road traffic noise simulation methods of the city.To sum up,this paper studies the influence of urban areas on road traffic noise model simulation,introduces urban functional areas in the model simulation process,and constructs an urban functional area classification system for road traffic noise simulation.Based on the classification system of urban functional areas,we study the long calculation time of the model and the simulation of road traffic noise at the scale of the whole city,propose the simulation and effective calculation method of road traffic noise considering urban functional areas,design and build the prototype system,and select the area for experimental verification.The research and results of this paper are as follows:(1)Construction of urban functional area classification system for road traffic noise simulation.Collect the classification system of common urban functional areas,study the noise tolerance of different urban functional areas,and propose the noise tolerance level of 0~3 urban functional areas;according to the noise tolerance level of different urban functional areas,merge or split various urban functional areas,and construct the classification system of urban functional areas for road traffic noise simulation,so as to provide the basis for subsequent simulation and effective calculation research.(2)Research on road traffic noise simulation methods considering urban functional areas.Based on the classification system of urban functional areas for road traffic noise simulation,the regional applicability and computational efficiency of common urban road traffic noise models are evaluated,the models adapted to different urban functional areas are explored,the road traffic noise simulation method considering urban functional areas is proposed,and the simulation framework is constructed.(3)Research on the effective calculation method of road traffic noise considering urban functional areas.On the basis of the simulation framework,on the one hand,based on the noise tolerance analysis of urban functional areas,the model area sampling method is studied and proposed to considering urban functional areas,and the sampling points are reduced to improve the efficiency of model calculation;on the other hand,the common model effective calculation methods are sorted out,and the methods with higher maturity are selected and incorporated into the effective calculation method of this study,and the data division method of the model parallel calculation method is improved.To sum up,we propose an effective calculation method for traffic noise considering urban functional areas.(4)Prototype system construction and experimental validation.After synthesizing the results of the above-mentioned research on road traffic noise simulation and effective calculation methods considering urban functional areas,we designed and built a prototype system according to the simulation requirements.Then we selected four districts under Nanjing to simulate using the prototype system,and also used conventional calculation methods to analyze the accuracy as well as the efficiency of this system.In this paper,we connect urban functional areas in the model simulation process.By constructing an urban functional area classification system for road traffic noise simulation,we study the road traffic noise simulation and effective calculation method considering urban functional areas.Based on the results of this study,we designed and built a prototype system to provide a solution for the simulation of road traffic noise at the overall city scale,which improves the simulation efficiency of urban road traffic noise and is of great significance for the management of road traffic noise and the new application of the model.
