Research On The Application Of Metal Damper In Frame Shear Wall Structure

Abstract/Summary:
In the field of vibration control of construction structure,energy consumption and shock absorption technology occupies a large proportion,which is one of the main directions of seismic research of construction structure.It has become a hot issue for experts and scholars from all over the world to study structural vibration control technology.Metal damper is a better energy consumption shock absorption technology of shock absorption device,with the advantages of simple structure,convenient manufacture and installation,high durability and low price.Metal dampers can provide additional stiffness and damping to the building structure,the earthquake energy transmitted to the structure will be consumed by the stagnation performance of the steel,to protect the safety of the building structure.Because of its good shock absorption effect,it is widely used for the vibration control of new buildings and the seismic reinforcement of existing buildings.A commercial building in Beijing is a frame shear wall structure,according to the requirements of the owner,to strengthen the seismic capacity of the building,after a comprehensive comparison,the choice of metal damper as a shock damping device.This paper takes the project as a case and studies the shock damping properties of the structure of the reinforced concrete frame according to the requirements of the seismic code.Time-range analysis of the engineering structure was performed using the SAP2000 finite element analysis software.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)Under the action of multiple earthquakes,the main body of the shock absorber of the metal damper is in an elastic state,the displacement angle between the structure:the maximum layer in the X direction is 1/1054,and the average value between the largest layer in the Y direction is 1/1092 to meet the target set by the seismic specification.The damping structure of the metal damper is smaller in the interlayer displacement angle,lateral displacement,layer shear and other values than the non-damping structure without the metal damper.It is shown that the metal damper provides stiffness for the structure under small shock.The shock absorber rate was21.4% at X direction and 20.1% at Y direction.(2)Under the action of rare earthquake,the interlayer displacement angle of the metal damper: the average value of the maximum interlayer displacement angle in the X direction is 1/164,and the average value of the maximum Y direction is 1/160,lower than the seismic limit,and less than the non-shock structure without the metal damper,indicating that after the structure sets the metal damper,the energy consumption of the metal damper ensures the safety of the rare earthquake.Through the analysis of the displacement and output results of the metal damper under the rare earthquake,we can see that each metal damper enters the plastic arrest back energy consumption and plays a good energy consumption capacity,thus ensuring the safety of the main structure in the case of the rare earthquake.The shock absorber was 22.1% at X and 21.5% at Y.It can be seen that the metal damper plays a good damping performance in the frame shear wall structure.
