With the withdrawal of the subsidy policy of the automobile industry,facing the unfavorable situations of the national economic recession,the global epidemic and the lack of chips and electric energy,passenger car sales in China had experienced negative growth for four consecutive years.The continuous decline of China’s auto market has intensified the competition among auto parts enterprises,and the survival and development of enterprises are facing unprecedented change.In spite of that,the new energy vehicle market in 2020 had brought a glimmer of light to the entire industry.After the decline of subsidy,the market achieved an annual sales growth of 24.5%,as the breakdown of the epidemic and economic recession.Some internet company has put much money in the field of new energy vehicles.Under the new product and service concept,customers’ product needs have undergone subversive changes.It is an inevitable trend of development to maximize the satisfaction of customer needs through product innovation.The R&D department is facing the severe challenges of failing to quickly respond to customers’ needs for new products and new technologies development,and the existing R&D system cannot fully adapt to the dilemma of innovative product development.Building a new business process to improve the product R&D system is an important topic for enterprises in the automotive industry.In view of this,this article takes the technology center of C Company as the research object of the business process re-engineering project.Benchmark analysis,interview,investigation and questionnaire survey are comprehensively used to follow the basic research ideas of asking,analyzing and solving problems.To be specific,the industry background and challenges will be introduced first.Under the background of the overall decline of the automobile market and the rapid development of new energy,C Company is determined to re-engineer the key business processes of the technology center for the improvement of the product R&D system.Secondly,the diagnosis process will be introduced.The technology center of C Company finds the direction of improvement by the means of identifying the key business processes,diagnosing the existing key business processes,and solving the problems existing in the processes.The key business process re-engineering scheme is introduced next.With the help of IBM’s business leadership model BLM,the end-to-end high-level business process framework of "strategy-market-R&D" is rebuilt,and within this framework,a new product R&D process suitable for its own is established through benchmark IPD integrated product R&D process.Finally,introduce the measurements of guarantee,evaluation and follow-up management to ensure the smooth operation of key business process re-engineering.This applicable research,which promotes the practice of business process re-engineering in the technology center of C Company,integrates the management of activities of market demand,product planning and technology pre-research into the new product R&D system process,and builds a product innovation and R&D system from 0to 1.The new product R&D system can not only meet the needs of customers for new products in terms of functions,performance and delivery speed,but also provide reference for the auto parts enterprises committed to improving the product R&D systems,helping to establish a product R&D system and process suitable for their own enterprises.
