Abstract/Summary:
Since the opening of the first electrified railway in New China(Baoji Fengzhou section of Baoji Chengdu Railway)in 1961,China’s railway electrification has started and ushered in rapid development.The total mileage of electrified railway has exceeded100000 kilometers.Therefore,it is of great significance to study all kinds of problems affecting the stable and safe operation of electric locomotive.In recent years,the icing of overhead contact system(OCS)in various railway bureaus has seriously threatened the safety of railway operation and has become the focus of extensive attention of various departments.In today’s busy transportation capacity,following the principle of "prevention first and combination of prevention and control",it is of great importance to eliminate and reduce the harm of OCS icing as far as possible without affecting the driving.By studying the formation mechanism of OCS icing,analyzing the critical anti icing and ice melting current of OCS icing,combined with the large-scale icing cases under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Bureau in 2020,visiting and investigating the advanced experience of the power industry,and the influencing factors of OCS icing are analyzed,this paper discusses the formation of a set of the characteristics of OCS icing for different regions and under different environmental conditions(such as large icing range in plain areas;small-scale icing prone areas such as hills and mountains),the corresponding icing prevention and control system is put forward.For the icing of OCS,First,it is proposed that the natural passive ice protection scheme should be adopted first,and a lubricant with long,periodical and degradable characteristics can be selected to spray the device online through the overhead contact line rail vehicle to reduce the icing of the overhead contact net or to reduce the difficulty of icing cleaning.Secondly,ice monitoring devices are set up in key prevention and control places for on-line monitoring,so as to realize the early warning of the icing OCS and data collection of surrounding meteorological environment,so as to solve the problems of high human investment,low coverage,inaccurate and untimely information acquisition,etc.In the deicing mode,the adjustable reactors are connected in series through different phases in the plain area with a large range of icing,the phase to phase voltage difference is used to make the catenary on the power supply arm pass the current,and the small current is used to achieve the purpose of anti icing and ice melting.Mechanical deicing can be used in small-scale ice skating prone areas such as hills,mountains and station survey lines.Reduce manpower investment and improve deicing efficiency.This paper systematically analyzes and summarizes the types of OCS icing,the factors affecting OCS icing and the characteristics of traction power supply system icing.Then,through comparative research on relevant industries,a targeted "prevention–supervision-removal" integrated control system of OCS icing prevention was finally constructed.The applicability and feasibility of the application of natural anti icing materials and online monitoring system are verified by practical engineering cases.This scheme can effectively improve the prevention efficiency and accurate emergency response of OCS icing,and reduce the harm of OCS icing to electrical railway transportation.
