The opening of high-speed rail has shortened the time distance between regions,profoundly changed the behavior of enterprises,and affected the spatial distribution of enterprises.It is a very meaningful topic to accurately and carefully study the influence and mechanism of the opening of high-speed rail on the spatial distribution of industrial enterprises through the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods.The research conclusions of this paper are of great significance for correctly understanding the economic law of the spatial distribution of industrial enterprises,and will play a role of policy enlightenment in the process of urban development planning.This paper uses the empirical data of 285 cities at prefecture-level and above in China from 2004 to 2019 and adopts the multi-period differential method.The benchmark model and the moderating effect model are constructed for empirical test.In the heterogeneity analysis,grouping regression method is adopted to quantitatively analyze the heterogeneity influence of the opening of HSR on different cities.In the expansibility analysis,the paper further analyzes whether the speed of urban economic development,railway transport status and infrastructure support affect the impact of the opening of high-speed rail on the spatial distribution of industrial enterprises.The main conclusions are as follows:First,the opening of high-speed railway promotes the diffusion of industrial enterprises from central cities to peripheral cities;Second,the agglomeration of producer services in central cities is an important mechanism for the spatial distribution of industrial enterprises affected by the opening of high-speed railways.Thirdly,the dispersion effect of high-speed rail on industrial enterprises is more obvious in the eastern region,nonresource-based cities and areas close to central cities.Fourth,the dispersion effect of highspeed rail on industrial enterprises is weaker in regions with higher GDP growth rates.Fifth,the effect of high-speed rail on the spatial distribution of industrial enterprises is also affected by regional infrastructure and railway freight conditions.
