Microwave power transmission(MPT)is a long-distance wireless energy transmission method,which has broad application prospects in space exploration,military,medical,civilian and so on.As a key part of the MPT system,it is significant to study its effective received power and the layout of the array.Therefore,this article considers the receiving rectenna from three parts,one is the layout design of the large-scale receiving array antenna,the second is the receiving capability of the receiving antenna,and the third is the influence of lightning on the energy distribution in the receiving area.The major work is as follows:1.Sub-array layout design of large-scale receiving array antenna.The power density distribution of the transmitting antenna radiated to the receiving area is uneven,the layout design of the receiving area is carried out from the area division and the sub-array division within the area respectively.The area division is used to determine the design power of the rectifier circuit,and then the area is divided into sub-arrays so that the receiving power of each receiving sub-array is close.The layout of the receiving array antennas in the 55 m MPT system case and the 100 m MPT system case are respectively given;considering the engineering application,the receiving area is divided according to the type of the receiving antenna,and the layout of the receiving sub-array is adjusted,which is convenient to process and install the receiving array antenna,and has important reference value for engineering applications.2.The receiving efficiency of the receiving array antenna.Based on the Friis energy transmission equation,the effective receiving power of the receiving antenna unit under any position and posture is studied,and the calculation model is established;the comparison with the simulation experiment is carried out,and the result verifies the correctness of the calculation model.Based on the antenna unit,the calculation model of the receiving efficiency of the receiving array antenna is carried out,and the correctness is verified by the simulation model.Finally,for the receiving array antenna in the subject project of the MPT system,the layout of the receiving array antenna is introduced,the received power and received efficiency of various receiving antenna units are calculated,and the relevant research content that needs to be continued in the future is briefly introduced.3.Prototype test of receiving array antenna.A small MPT experiment platform was built,and the MPT experiment was carried out.The results are in good agreement with the calculated results,and there is a deviation,because the distance between the antennas and the ground is limited,and the ground has a reflection effect on the electromagnetic waves radiated by the antenna.Then,the initial debugging experiment plan of the receiving array antenna prototype in the subject project was introduced,the experimental results and the calculation results have a large deviation.Considering that the subject project is under debugging,the control accuracy of the transmitting and receiving antenna is low;however,the test result has certain guiding significance for the follow-up test work.4.Analysis of the influence of lightning on the MPT system.According to the physical characteristics of lightning,the effects of the scattering effect of the lightning channel and the radiation effect of the lightning current on the energy distribution of the receiving area are studied respectively.Numerical experiments show that the scattering of the lightning channel will change the energy distribution of the receiving area,while the radiation of the lightning current has a weak effect on the energy distribution of the receiving area and can be ignored.Considering the influence of lightning on the transmission efficiency of the MPT system in the actual working environment,the energy distribution radiated by the transmitting antenna to the receiving area and the actual receiving power of the receiving array antenna can be measured more accurately.and then when lightning occurs,relevant measures in time to avoid the influence of the change of transmission energy on the efficiency of the receiving antenna.
