Research On Campsite Dormitory Architectural Design Adapted To Primary School Campers’ Characteristics

At present,research and study travel activities are developing rapidly in China,and its material environment carrier-research and study camps are also under large-scale construction.After conducting an on-site investigation of the camp,the author found that campers in different stages of the camp are facing problems such as poor living quality and insufficient communication benefits during their lives.After preliminary analysis,the reason can be attributed to the lack of dormitory space for different schools.Humanized design with characteristics of the campers.Elementary school campers are particularly affected by the above due to their young age and weak environmental adaptability.Therefore,it is urgent to conduct research on related space design issues.First,the author conducts research on the literature on the physical and mental characteristics of elementary school campers in pedagogy,ergonomics and psychology,and combines them with architecture to sort out the physical and mental characteristics of campers in this school.Then,through interviews with research tutors Investigate and grasp first-hand information about the specific life needs of elementary school campers;then,the author conducted field investigations on many research camps around Wuhan to gain insights into the life status of elementary school campers,and conduct a comprehensive comparative analysis of the status quo and needs.It is found that the current research camp dormitory has many problems such as improper design of the escort space,improper organization of auxiliary space,and unreasonable activity space distribution.Finally,the author starts from the perspectives of the scale,organization and function types of the space and adopts the human body in response to the problems found.Engineering,typology and other methods are used to study the various elements in the dormitory,and a series of conclusions have been obtained,such as the proportion of sanitary ware,the scale of furniture,and the spatial form that meet the needs of elementary school campers.Architectural design provides useful reference.This article also takes the author’s graduation project "Qinglong Mountain National Geopark International Research Camp Design" as a practical case,combined with the unique site environment of the camp,and further explores the possibility of the application of the research results in specific projects.
