The paper introduces a current signal detection scheme which is based on the principle of HOCT. And we combine the measurement technology of traditional Rogowski coil and modern analog optical fiber transmission technology to finish the whole circuit layout of the photoelectric detection system and making the real model.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background and significance of photoelectric detection of current signal. Secondly, this paper illustrates, in detail, the design concept and principle of optical fiber transmission system. After minutely analyzing the high-frequency response characteristic of Rogowski coil and getting the factors of affecting it, this paper makes a wideband Rogowski coil which can be used to monitor the fast current signal. At last, we determine the types of components and topological structure of circuit used in the optical fiber transmission model through experiment and analysis. Then, we finish standardizing the whole model and put forward the methods of improving the high-frequency response characteristic of detection system.The experiment results show that the model we make has high measuring accuracy, good working stability and wideband response. Thus, the model can meet the requirements of the fast current signal detection and we get the design goal. Obviously, the technology of photoelectric detection of fast current signal has wide application prospects.
