Influence Of Built Environment Factors On Resident Activities In Harbin Hongbo Square

Street is an important space for carrying urban activities,and also an important place for people to carry out public life.At present,some urban streets ignore the place characteristics of streets under the concept of vehicle traffic behavior,which makes the streets lose their original vitality.On the other hand,streets in cold regions are restricted by climate conditions.Due to the distinct climate differences between winter and summer,streets often lack seasonal vitality.The residence activity is closely related to the outdoor space vitality,and increasing the residence activity can effectively improve the space vitality.Based on the above background,this study adopts the method of environmental behavior,selects several representative cold streets in Harbin Hongbo square area,and analyzes the impact of street construction environment on resident activities through field investigation and observation of street built environment characteristics and pedestrian resident activities in Hongbo square area.By clarifying the classification and content of residential activities,combined with the characteristics of pedestrian walking activities in cold regions,this paper puts forward the pedestrian walking speed,which is suitable for Street resident activities in cold regions,and defines its calculation method.For the elements of street built-up environment,this paper summarizes the selection basis of street built-up environmental elements in the existing research,and combined with the characteristics of regional street environment,puts forward the quantitative method of secondary cold street built-up environmental element system and index from the aspects of street and building scale,bottom characteristics of buildings along the Street,non building boundary and street space entity elements.In winter and summer,panoramic camera was used to observe and record the pedestrian activities in Hongbo square area,and the intensity of resident activities was compared,and the correlation analysis was conducted with the data of street built environment elements,and the factors influencing pedestrian activities in different seasons were obtained.According to the demand level of pedestrian outdoor walking activities,the influence mechanism of street built environment factors on resident activities is explained.From three aspects of ensuring appropriate Street scale,creating attractive Street boundary and setting up reasonable street facilities,this paper puts forward the design principles of cold streets to promote resident activities,and puts forward the reconstruction strategies for studying streets in Hongbo square area.Taking Hongbo square as an example,this paper improves and complements the research methods and framework of residential activities in cold cities,puts forward a new definition and interpretation of the concept of residential activities,and puts forward corresponding quantitative indicators.The principles of street design in this paper can provide a theoretical basis for urban design.The study of street reconstruction strategy has certain guiding significance and reference value for other cold city street renewal.
