The rapid growth of the number of novice drivers has brought serious traffic safety problems.Compared with experienced drivers,novice drivers are more likely to have accidents.Weak car operation ability and low hazard perception ability are the main reasons for the frequent traffic accidents of novice drivers.Studies show that novice drivers can learn car operation skills quickly,but it takes longer to master complex hazard perception skills.Hazard perception training can quickly improve the hazard perception level of novice drivers.Foreign researchers have carried out hazard perception training research on novice drivers for a long time,and even hazard perception test has been included in the driving license test system in some countries.Driving schools in China,on the other hand,focus more on operational skills rather than hazard perception training.Therefore,Chinese novice drivers are faced with very high traffic hazards in the initial time on the road,and it is urgent to develop hazard perception training methods for Chinese novice drivers.This paper takes novice drivers as the research object,through the analysis of drivers’ hazard perception process and cognitive education theory,develops a hazard perception training method for novice drivers,and verifies its effectiveness and timeliness.The details are as follows:(1)Through the collation of related research,the hazard perception process of drivers is analyzed.According to the process of drivers’ hazard perception,Bandura’s observation learning theory,which is suitable for hazard perception training,is selected as the theoretical basis for developing novice driver training methods.According to Bandura’s observation learning theory,an training method for novice drivers’ hazard perceptionexperience inheritance training is developed.(2)Through the traffic accident data mining,this paper explores the accident scene of the novice driver.According to the random forest algorithm,screening of novice drivers prone to traffic accident scene,found "deceleration of vehicles ahead","lateral road vehicle","misoperation","vehicle lane change","the view is blocked" and "vehicles parked at the side of the road" are the most easily lead to novice driver accident scene,according to the traffic scene set up hazard scenarios.(3)The effectiveness and timeliness of experience inheritance training are verified by hazard perception training for novice drivers.Compared with the novice drivers without training,the novice drivers trained had a significantly higher level of hazard perception,they were more likely to identify the hazard,the speed through the dangerous road was lower,and the lateral distance from the dangerous point was farther.The effect of hazard perception training is long-lasting,but taining can not improve the fixation duration and scanning frequency of novice drivers in a short period of time.Compared with the common expert commentary training training,the experience inheritance training has more advantages in the hazard identification rate,the percentage of fixation time and the percentage of fixation times.In a word,experience inheritance training is a new hazard perception training method for novice drivers,which can improve the level of hazard perception of novice drivers.Experience inheritance training can be further enriched and developed as a supplement to the existing driver training.
