Research Of The Effects Of Music Sound On College Students’ Communicating Emotion In Indoor Communication Space

Acoustic environment is one of the important environmental factors of the researches in indoor communication space.At present,the researches on the relationship between acoustic environment and emotion mainly focuses on the influence of noise on emotion and music therapy,however,which is lacking of researches on the influence of acoustic environment on interactive behaviors.Therefore,under the background of weakening social interaction among contemporary college students,this paper chooses communicating as the research object,based on PAD three-dimensional emotional model,to explore the influence of music on conversation emotion in some specific spatial environments.First of all,in the same indoor communication space,this study explored the influence of music factors on communicating emotion.In the aspect of music evaluation,firstly,there a significant difference in music evaluation under different sound pressure levels(SPL).In the range of 40-60 d BA,the evaluation score was the highest when the SPL was 50 d BA.When the evaluation of music sound was negative,increasing the SPL of music could significantly improve the arousal of the communicating.Secondly,musical emotion was significantly correlated with music evaluation.Joyful and sad music can effectively promote communicating;when the music emotion is cheerful and stirring,it can effectively improve arousal.Thirdly,the music with reverberation would disturb communication and the music without reverberation can effectively improve pleasure and dominance during communication.Fourth,fast music can better promote conversation and effectively improve arousal.In terms of subjective evaluation of music,firstly,positive music could effectively promote communicating and improve dominance.Secondly,there was no significant difference in the musical evaluation and PAD emotional evaluation under different musical likability.Thirdly,when music disturbs communicating,music with high degree of familiarity can effectively improve arousal.Secondly,in the same musical sound environment,this study explores the influence of communication spacial attributes on communicating emotion.First,in terms of space types,compared with learning space and dining space,music can effectively promote communicating in living space.In living and learning space music can effectively improve pleasure,activation and dominance.In addition,music can significantly promote conversation in small-scale space,and effectively improve pleasure,arousal and dominance.Secondly,in terms of space atmosphere,when the musical evaluation was negative,music could effectively improve dominance in the cool color space.In the space of different background sound environment,the difference of musical evaluation is significant.Music in quiet environment can effectively improve pleasure,arousal and dominance.Finally,this study explored the influence of conversational characteristics on communicating.Firstly,music can significantly improve dominance when the familiarity level of communicators is low.Secondly,when communicators are of mixed gender,music can effectively improve the dominance.Thirdly,when the number of communicators is more than two,music could effectively promote communicating.When the musical evaluation was negative,compared with multi-participant group,music sound in one-on-one conversation could significantly improve dominance.The above results show that,combined the above-mentioned characteristics of space and communicating,the adjustment of musical SPL,musical emotion,musical reverberation and tempo can be used to improve communicating emotion,furthermore to promote interactive behaviour among and provide a theoretical basis for the construction of indoor communication space.
