Research On The Design Of Urban Parks In Cold Region From The Perspective Of Natural Ecology

In recent years,the urban population continued to grow and urban construction is gradually accelerating with the booming urbanaization in China,which lead to a series of problems,such as relative imbalance of land utilization,inconsistency of economic,social and ecological benefits,and extensive development of green space in cities.In cities of cold areas of China,severe cold climate aggravates urbanization-related problems and leads to a stream of deepening problems,such as waste of urban environmental energy,ecological balance broken by artificial landscape construction and inharmonious urban landscape,making the inhabiting environment in cold area even more worse given the original poor economic and environment conditions,and resulting in ecological construction lagging behind other regions.Under this context,the paper tries to sort out a set of methods for ecology-oriented urban parks suitable for cold cities.Taking all areas of characteristics of cold cities into accont,the paper reviews and summarizes the development history of natural ecology concept and the enlightenment of designing parks in cold cities.Then it puts forward the strategies and key points to design and build natural ecological parks suitable for cold cities,so as to provide theoretical basis and practice guidance for the design of urban parks in severely cold regions.The research mainly consists of four parts: literature review and summarization,case study,design strategy analysis and practice case analysis.Firstly,the current theories and methods of ecological landscape both at home and abroad are sorted out,and the overall research framework and methodology system are established.Besides,theories related to natural ecological visual threshold are deeply analyzed.Natural ecological design elements,functional elements and landscape elements of landscape design of urban parks in cold regions are sorted out and analyzed,so as to summarize factors impacting the landscape design of such parks.Thirdly,based on theoretical research and excellent cases at home and abroad,the principles and strategies of landscape design of urban parks in cold regions are put forward,mainly including five parts: utilization of original sites,introduction of waterscape and water,selection of featured vegetation in cold regions,paving hard ground in an ecological manner and harmoniously integration of garden architectures and facilities.Finally,urban park group in Qunli District of Harbin is selected as a key case for in-depth analysis through field investigation and from the perspective of engineering practice.Also,the design strategy of urban parks in cold regions are verified and deepened.On the whole,under the context of urbanization in cold cities,regarding the frontier field of urban ecological landscape,the paper,taking into account the climate and cultures of cold cities,carries out in-depth research on urban parks in a scientific and systematic manner,involving theoretical analysis,case interpretation,thinking on design and proving by empirical study,so as to provide guidance and reference to design of urban parks in cold regions to some extent,and to play a positive role in the landscape ecological development in cold regions.
