With the advent of the knowledge economy era,more and more attention has been paid to knowledge innovation and technological innovation.China regards promoting innovation as the core of its national development strategy.A university is a social organization that intensively gathers multidisciplinary knowledge,teachers and students in a limited area.Interdisciplinary academic exchange and cooperation is one of the most effective means for universities to promote innovation.From the perspective of communication science,universities can be regarded as an academic community for the interactive dissemination of academic information.The efficiency of information dissemination within the academic community determines the innovation capability of it.At present,the dissemination of academic information within disciplines of university campuses in our country is well developed,but there are many obstacles to dissemination of academic information between disciplines.From the perspective of planning and design,in order to create a campus physical environment that is conducive to interdisciplinary academic information interaction and innovation,this article plans to study how to carry out the campus function layout and streamline organization to promote more encounters with interdisciplinary academic information in the daily life of teachers and students,so that they can get the opportunity to contact and spread the academic information of other disciplines with the minimum time cost and psychological cost.The research of this article is divided into three parts:The first part is the first chapter of this article.It explains the background,purpose and significance of this research,defines the important concepts,sorts out relevant research at home and abroad,and clarifies the research issues and methods.The second part is the second and third chapters of this article,which is the basic part of this research.First of all,from the perspective of communication science,it reveals that the fundamental significance of universities lies in the dissemination of academic information and there are several obstacles to the dissemination of interdisciplinary academic information on university campuses.Then a method of interdisciplinary academic information encounter is proposed to deal with these obstacles.It can be realized by strengthening the connection between buildings,combining with daily behavior streamline,and taking real-time academic scene as the main body of display.The results of a questionnaire survey of university teachers and students show that most of the interviewees are willing to accept this method.Afterwards,the importance of interdisciplinary academic information encounters in promoting interdisciplinary academic information interaction was supported by two methods,forward proof and reverse proof.Currently,most of the campuses that adopt interdisciplinary academic information encounters to conduct interdisciplinary academic information interaction are abroad.The campus space characteristics and academic innovation achievements of the three cases of MIT,the Free University of Berlin and the Hakodate Future University in Japan can be regarded as positive proof.However,traditional universities in China carry out interdisciplinary academic information interaction in the communication space.The survey results of academic information interaction in the communication space of Wushan campus of South China University of technology show that the interdisciplinary academic information interaction rarely occurs,which proves in reverse the importance of interdisciplinary academic information encounter in the University.The third part is the fourth and fifth chapters of this article,which is the experimental part of this research.In this part,conceptual design schemes of four university campuses are taken as examples to establish pedestrian simulation models using the GAMA platform which simulate the daily behavior trajectories of teachers and students in the school.Then through the comparison of multiple schemes,the strategies of campus spatial form and functional layout are preliminarily obtained,which are conducive to promoting interdisciplinary academic information encounter,including improving the connectivity and functional complexity of the college buildings and reducing the outdoor roads near them.Through the above work,this research will obtain two aspects of results: one is a university campus pedestrian simulation model with a certain general applicability;the other is the university campus planning and design strategy proposed for the purpose of promoting interdisciplinary academic information encounters.It is hoped that this research can stimulate university builders and administrators to think about the relevance between campus space and interdisciplinary interaction,and make a modest contribution to improve the university innovation.
