In recent years, with the rapid growth of the total mileage of China’s roads, the excellent road network has been basically formed, and the focus of construction has gradually shifted to maintenance, especially for some early pavements diseases after opening traffic. There is an urgent need for a kind of pavement maintenance technology which can repair pavement ruts, lean oil, cracks and other diseases efficiently and economically. At present,China advocates the "resource-saving and environment-friendly" social development strategy vigorously.Compared with the traditional wearing course which has low resource utilization and high energy consumption, the advantages of various thin layers of 2 cm and below are gradually prominent. The ultra-thin wearing course of 1 cm grade has become an inevitable trend.Ultra-thin wearing course is a new type of preventive maintenance technology with the technical advantages of thin structure layer, safe and beautiful, smooth and quiet, dense water sealing, fast construction, economy and durability.Because of the thin thickness of the ultra-thin wearing course, the shear effect caused by the horizontal force of the vehicle is more obvious, which increases the risk of interlayer slip, even spalling and separation. In order to popularize and apply the technology of ultra-thin wearing course of asphalt pavement more scientifically,it is necessary to pay more attention to the research of interlayer bonding. This dissertation studies the influence of the technical condition of the original pavement, temperature, different kinds of emulsified asphalt, water, emulsified asphalt spraying amount and other factors on the interlayer bonding condition. With the repeated action of vehicle load and the comprehensive action of rain and light environment factors, the mechanical properties of the pavement interlayer adhesive layer gradually attenuate until it can not resist the external force, and the pavement interlayer fatigue failure occurs.Three kinds of adhesive layer materials(high viscosity modified emulsified asphalt,PC-3 emulsified asphalt,Nova-B modified emulsified asphalt)are used to study the pulling strength trend at different temperatures and the formula of temperature correction coefficient is proposed. We also explored the best spraying amount of high viscosity modified emulsified asphalt at different temperatures when cement and asphalt are used as the underlayer.According to the air temperature conditions in different regions,we put forward suggestions on the spraying amount of high viscosity modified emulsified asphalt. When GT-8 high toughness and ultra-thin wearing course is overlaid on the upper layer, the bond performance is affected by the lower structure. Two kinds of typical lower bearing layers, cement and GAC-16,are selected.Next,we analyzed the changes of shearing strength and pulling strength of adhesive layer after five kinds of interface treatment methods: smooth surface, grooving, roughening, shot blasting and wear.We also put forward some suggestions for the application of white and black pavement in engineering. Finally, the interlaminar shearing fatigue test and the interlaminar pulling fatigue test of the composite specimen are carried out through the self-developed shearing test and pulling test. The influences of the material type, temperature and load on the fatigue performance of the adhesive layer are studied, and the evaluation method and index of the mechanical performance of the adhesive layer are put forward.
