| City memory is an important source of the formation of a unique city style,and an important carrier of the city’s unique personality and community identity.The historic conservation area is a precious historical heritage in the city,and it is the historical reality that we can still touch today.However,in the context of today’s rapid urbanization,many historic conservation area have to face the pressure of renewal,which has caused the loss of historical and cultural information and urban memory.This is precisely because in the implementation of the renewal of historic conservation area,the historical context and regional culture of the city were not considered from the perspective of urban memory,which destroyed the original texture and historical atmosphere of the area and eventually led to the loss of urban memory.Based on this contradiction,this research studies the landscape renewal of historic conservation area,and aims to explore the landscape renewal model that is conducive to the continuation of urban memory and meets the development needs of historic conservation area.This article adopts the method of literature analysis,interdisciplinary method,field investigation method,and research method of expanding application.Sort out the development context of urban memory theory and the landscape renewal of historic conservation area,analyze the sources,characteristics and connotations of related concepts,and refine relevant core theories and their connotations.Based on the theory of urban memory,field investigations were conducted on the landscape renewal construction examples of typical historic conservation area in China,and the design characteristics and construction experience that can be used for reference in landscape renewal design techniques and urban memory intervention in the landscape approach were summarized.On this basis,the approach to the construction of urban memory and the principles of landscape renewal design for historic conservation area are proposed,and then a landscape renewal design strategy for historic conservation area that continues urban memory is proposed.Finally,the landscape renewal design practice for the historic conservation area of The Small Wild Goose Pagoda,through a detailed site survey,based on the in-depth exploration of the historic conservation area’s history and culture and the analysis of the area users’ urban memory cognition rules,combined with the proposed design strategy,carries out the landscape renewal design,and provides reference and guidance for the landscape renewal design of similar historic conservation area. |
