The important part of active suspension is actuator and it is a hot topic of suspension research in recent years.For the sake of solving the shortcoming of low output force density of the existing actuators,the paper designs a cylindrical transverse flux linear motor,uses the motor as an actuator on an active suspension,and studies the electromagnetic characteristics of the motor.This paper studies the suspension road input based on the white noise method.The input model and active and passive suspension models are built on the Matlab/Simulink platform.The suspension performance wave forms are obtained through simulation experiments,and then the design goals of the actuators are obtained.According to this goal,a kind of transverse flux linear motor actuator is designed,in Maxwell establishes a model of transverse flux linear motor on software and simulation and the electromagnetic force is obtained.And the electromagnetic force is compared with the output force in the design target.The comparison verifies the correctness of the actuator model,and compares and analyzes the radial flux models with the same parameters on this basis.The effects of structural parameters,current amplitude,running speed and other factors on the electromagnetic force were analyzed by parametric modeling method.The dynamic displacement of the wheel obtained by the input of a sinusoidal signal is used as the motor input excitation,and the output force of the motor is acquired,compare this electromagnetic force with the output force in the design target,and verify that this kind of motor can be installed on the active suspension as an actuator.The simulation results show that the LQG(Linear Quadratic Gaussian)controller has a certain performance optimization effect on the suspension system.The sprung mass vertical acceleration of the active suspension is reduced by 41.6% compared with the passive suspension;in terms of suspension dynamic deflection design,the suspension dynamic stroke compared with the passive suspension,the frame is reduced by 32.2%;the dynamic wheel displacement,the active suspension is reduced by 32.9%;the rated thrust of the linear motor actuator is not less than 1000 N.The maximum electromagnetic thrust of the actuator can reach 1019.3N,which can meet the design requirements of the actuator.The output force of transverse flux linear motor is 2.2 times of the traditional radial flux.
