The synchronous gravel sealing vehicles are widely used in highway maintenance,usually working in periodic cycles with large changes in speed and load.The power source of the traditional synchronous gravel sealing vehicles is the diesel engine,which has poor fuel economy,low energy utilization,and large pollutant emissions.Faced with the current situation of scarcity of resources and increasingly severe environmental pollution,it is necessary to develop a hybrid synchronous gravel sealing vehicle,which can improve engine performance,reduce pollutant emission intensity,and improve the level of green and safe highways.In order to improve the economy and environmental protection of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle,the thesis uses a combination of theoretical calculation and software simulation to study the serial hybrid power system of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle.First,analyzing the vehicle’s structure,working principle,operation process of the traditional synchronous gravel sealing vehicles,and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the three hybrid structures of series,parallel and hybrid,and comprehensively considering the manufacturing cost,complexity and vehicle performance to design the structure of the series hybrid power system of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle;Secondly,with the goal of reducing fuel consumption,parameter matching and selection of power parts in the hybrid power system of the synchronous gravel sealer vehicle are based on the power component parameters and performance indicators of a certain type of synchronous gravel sealer vehicle;Thirdly,formulating control strategies for the engine multi-operating points and the braking energy recovery based on the energy flow characteristics of the four working modes and the energy demand under the two working conditions of transition and operation of series hybrid power system of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle;Finally,adopting the Cruise simulation software to create a series hybrid power system simulation model of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle,and adopting the combined simulation method of Cruise and MATLAB to import the control strategy into the Cruise simulation platform to verify the power performance,economic performance and hybrid power system control strategy of a synchronous gravel sealing vehicle with Series hybrid system.Research shows that the power parameters of each part of the vehicle can well meet the working requirements.Comparing with the traditional synchronous gravel sealing vehicle,the fuel consumption is reduced,and the economic performance is greatly improved with the cooperation of the engine’s multi-operating point control strategy and the braking energy recovery control strategy.
