Is there an interconnection between health disparity and segregation? How to provide Kabul citizens with equal access to healthcare? The segregation measurement is done using the segregation analyzer(an open-source software that is developed in C# language and works with Microsoft.net platform),Arc Map,and Arc Catalog in Arc GIS desktop as the main tools. The research findings prove that Kabul is highly segregated based on ethnic groups and that there is a connection between disparity in healthcare and segregation.Planning and policy solutions to provide equal access to healthcare are suggested to policymakers and planners. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | healthcare disparity, ethnic residential segregation, segregation analyzer, Kabul | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
