The development of school bus safety technology in China is relatively late.In the past decades,the development of bus safety technology has basically been synchronized.With the frequent occurrence of school bus accidents in recent years,public opinion has paid extensive attention to the topic of school bus,and the research on school bus safety has been warming up.The collision safety test of domestic school bus products is still in its infancy.It has not grasped the key technology of safety of light special school bus,nor has the dynamic test data of special school bus seat.With the dynamic test stipulated in "Strength of Seat System for Students of Special School Bus and Fixed Parts of Its Vehicles" promulgated by the State in 2012,the displacement of trunk and head of dummy has been clearly demanded by using simulated pulley crash test.At the same time,the head,chest and leg of dummy have also been demanded.When the school bus collides,the secondary collision between students and front seats is more prominent.Safe school buses should provide effective protection to all passengers on the bus and minimize their injuries.Safe and reliable school bus seats are very important.In this paper,three-dimensional digital models of children with different ages and percentages are built by using three-dimensional software,three-dimensional models of seats are built by using MADYMO finite element model,and P6 child dummy in MADYMO 6.2.1 dummy model data is used to define the contact between seat and dummy,establish finite element model of seat belt,set initial speed of dummy and seat position.This paper designs a school bus seat suitable for children through the size of child dummy,designs and analyses the collision safety structure and performance of school bus through collision test,improves and optimizes the seat structure according to the result of test analysis,and verifies that the simulation results of impact plate skeleton structure seat basically coincide with the test results by the method of test and simulation analysis.The seat safety of impact plate skeleton structure should meet the requirements of the new national standard,and the seat structure and performance should be improved and optimized to effectively improve the safety of the seat and meet the requirements of the new standard.Based on the two new school bus standards to be promulgated,this paper designs a child seat suitable for the existing school bus based on the child dummy.It is verified by simulation and experiment,and its structure is optimized to provide technical support for the production and manufacture of light special school bus for enterprises.Through the study of collision safety of special school bus seat system,theoretical basis and experimental data are provided for occupant space maintenance and secondary collision damage assessment of light special school bus.
