Compared with ordinary steel plate shear walls(SPSWs),steel corrugated shear walls(SCSWs)have more advanced lateral resistant performance which can be utilized in high-rise buildings.In this paper,the finite element analysis(FEA)was used to analyze the lateral resistance and the interaction between infill plate and frame in single-layer single-span SCSWs,which will provide guidance for engineering practice.Firstly,the influence of corrugation parameters on the lateral resistance of infill plate is analyzed.Monotonic loading is conducted by changing corrugation parameters,based on which the changing of lateral resistance and ductility of infill panels are observed.The lateral resistance mechanism of infill corrugated plate is clarified by comparing the additional effect of infill corrugated plate and flat plate on boundary frame via typical cases.The fitting formula of ultimate lateral resistance and design recommendations for stable post-buckling strength are given by a large number of FEA calculation.Secondly,based on different lateral resistant mechanism of infill corrugated plate,the influence of flexural rigidity of boundary columns on lateral resistance is analyzed by pushover analysis with different dimensions of infill plates.To maximize lateral resistance of infill corrugated plate,the threshold flexural rigidity of boundary columns is given.The influence of vertical load on lateral resistant performance of infill plate is analyzed by changing vertical load which act on boundary columns.The influence of vertical stiffeners on lateral resistance of infill corrugated plate with large aspect ratio is analyzed with the help of previous research results.The effectiveness of transition rigidity of stiffener is verified.Finally,the hysteric behavior of infill corrugated plate is analyzed.By use of the research results of pushover analysis,the difference of lateral resistant performance between monotonic load and cyclic load are compared with optimized infill corrugated plate.A large number of FEA calculation is carried out to further optimize design recommendations of infill plate for stable post-buckling strength.The difference of hysteretic behavior between SCSWs and SPSWS is compared,the additional effect of infill corrugated plate and flat plate on boundary frame is analyzed.The differences of lateral resistant performance between horizontal and vertical corrugated infill plate are compared based on infill plate which aspect ratio equals 1.0,especially the lateral stiffness,lateral resistance,ductility and energy dissipation capacity.
