As my country’s freight railways are concentrated in mountainous areas with complex terrain,large axles,high quality of train traction,and high energy consumption,not only the construction cost is high,but also the operating cost is relatively high.The optimization of the vertical alignment of the freight railway can effectively reduce the construction cost of the line and the energy consumption of the train,so it has great social and economic benefits.This article mainly focuses on the optimization of the vertical alignment of freight railway line.First,it analyzes the basic requirements of the vertical alignment design,and summarizes the factors that affect the vertical alignment design.Based on this,the optimization model of the vertical alignment of the freight railway line with the minimum construction cost and train energy consumption as the objective function is constructed,and the ant colony particle swarm algorithm is designed to solve the model.The main research work and conclusions are as follows:(1)First,analyze and summarize the factors that affect the plan of the vertical alignment of the route,and establish an optimization model of the vertical alignment of the freight railway.Aiming at the optimization of the vertical alignment of the freight railway,the basic influencing factors such as line design specifications,train performance and construction environment are summarized,and the requirements of controlling the construction cost and train energy consumption on the vertical alignment design are analyzed.Considering the location of electrical phases,the speed limit of trains and the performance of locomotives,the construction of a freight railway line that takes the mileage and elevation of the slope point as decision variables,and takes the slope range,slope length,control elevation and ensuring driving safety as constraints.(2)Considering the complex characteristics of model constraints,the ant colony algorithm and particle swarm algorithm are improved,and hybrid particle swarm algorithm and adaptive ant colony algorithm are proposed.Combining this article with the optimization model of the freight railway line’s vertical alignment,construct the vertical alignment calculation grid model,and use the method of linear difference and the idea of "turning curve into straight" to process the objective function,and at the same time adopt avoidance area expansion and parallelogram feasible region the construction processes the constraints to meet the needs of the rapidity of model solving.(3)Case analysis shows that compared with the existing construction scheme,the vertical alignment scheme obtained by the model algorithm designed in this paper reduces the construction cost by 5.94% and the train energy consumption by 3.90%;compared with the scheme using a single ant colony algorithm In comparison,the ant colony particle swarm algorithm used in this article saves 33.5% of calculation time and improves the quality of the solution;the comprehensive consideration of construction cost and train energy consumption is more reasonable than the single consideration of construction cost or train energy consumption;through the parameter sensitivity analysis,the weight value of different targets and the optimal value of the grid pitch are summarized,which makes the solution efficiency and solution quality better.
