| With the release of a series of national policies such as the outline of the National Guideline on Medium-and Long-Term Program for Science and Technology Development(2010-2020)and Made in China 2025,the cultivation of innovative talents has gradually become a key task in China’s education.In order to cultivate high-level innovative engineering talents in line with the development requirements of The Times,China puts forward the Emerging Engineering Education in 2017.Emerging Engineering Education puts forward new requirements on the ability of engineering talents and requires engineering students to be more innovative.The cultivation of innovative talents must be small-scale.How to scientifically and effectively select engineering students with innovative potentials to conduct small-scale innovative cultivation is the primary issue of new engineering reform education.This study first elaborated the development vein and the latest progress of engineering innovativeness,a hot theoretical frontier of engineering education abroad,and related theories such as competency model.Then,taking the industrial strong schools of Britain,America and Germany as examples,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the innovative talent training mode of the industrial strong schools in the industrial strong countries,and analyzes the training mode of the experimental classes in some universities and colleges in Chin.At the same time,the paper analyzes the problems in the talent selection mechanism of selecting students with innovative potential through scores.Therefore,it is urgent to develop a new selection measurement evaluation tool to replace the score evaluation.Based on engineering innovativeness and combining with the needs of Chinese times and excellent traditional culture,this paper determines the evaluation index system of innovation ability of engineering students in universities.The subjective experience and knowledge of experts are considered by AHP,and distance is used as a measure of dissimilarity to reflect the weight of experts and calculate the weight of the index system.The index system weight is calculated by the entropy method based on the actual data of students.The analytic hierarchy process is combined with the entropy method to supplement each other,and the index weight is comprehensively considered.Finally,taking3 students majoring in mechanical engineering in a university as an example,this paper evaluates their innovation ability through the grey synthesize evaluation method,and puts forward some suggestions on the subsequent training programs according to the advantages and the parts to be improved of each student.Based on the problems existing in the selection mechanism of small-scale talent cultivation in colleges and universities,this paper establishes the evaluation index system of innovation ability of engineering students in colleges and universities through the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods based on engineering innovativeness,which is a hot topic in foreign engineering education.The system provides a tool for colleges and universities to select and evaluate innovative engineering talents,aiming at improving the ability of colleges and universities to cultivate innovative engineering talents and cultivating more innovative engineering talents in line with the needs of The Times. |
