Steel structure bridge will play an important role in the field of bridge construction in the future.As a new type of bridge steel structure,the through steel ring web beam is suitable for rapid construction and has good bending capacity.In this paper,the basic mechanical properties of the through steel ring web beam are studied by the method of theoretical derivation and finite element analysis,and the preliminary design of the footbridge is carried out.The influencing factors of the deflection and ultimate bearing capacity are also studied,mainly including the following contents:(1)The element stiffness method based on Timoshenko beam theory is used to derive the bending stiffness and shear stiffness of the steel ring web beam,thereby obtaining the calculation formula of deflection.The finite element ABAQUS 2017 is used to verify underf different loads and different boundaries.The rationality of steel ring stiffeners,which is a kind of strengthening structure that can ignore shear deformation,is verified.(2)The design method of the through-type steel ring web beam was studied by combining the calculation method of elastic theory with the finite element analysis method of plate and shell.As an example,the steel ring web beam footbridge is supported by the finite element software ABAQUS to verify its deflection and stress,which provides a reference for its application in engineering practice.(3)The influence of load type,radial width and thickness of stiffener and thickness of steel ring on the deflection of through steel ring web beam is studied.Therefore,reasonable values can be selected at the time of design.(4)The calculation formula of flexural bearing capacity is derived based on the elasticity theory,and compared with the results obtained by the finite element software.
