Nowadays,China’s marine transportation industry is well-developed,and meanwhile,China has become a large shipbuilding country,which annual gross tonnage has reached a new high.Almost all the existing ships are fueled by diesel and heavy oil.However,the combustion of fossil fuels causes increasingly harmful to the environment,and has a negative impact on regional air quality and human health.An increasing number of ships,especially ships that operates in the inland river,are trying to utilize new energy such as LNG,batteries.In this thesis,based on the cooperative project between Jamtc and Nanjing Transport,ship survey of the existing 2000 DWT inland river conventional diesel powered ship(Hong Fang 068)is conducted.The overall pure battery power system of the ship is redesigned and updated.As the first battery-powered ship with electric switching mode in the world,the modification is difficult.The relevant technologies needs to break through the existing regulations.The related design and research are carried out on various factors,such as ship types,movable container battery pack,DC distribution system,integrated monitoring and control.The power system update of the ship is achieved by research.The main researches of this thesis are as follows:(1)Design and analysis of the ship-type modification scheme.In-depth research on the key technologies of the pure battery-powered cargo ships design is conducted.Based on the existing ship codes and regulations,analysis and optimization of the general layout,lithium battery cabin layout,fire safety system,and ship performance are conducted,and then the corresponding risk assessment is carried out.(2)Power system’s analysis and design.The ship’s energy storage system,power system and propulsion system are analyzed.A portable container lithium battery pack based on a standard 20-foot container is designed to modularize the lithium battery integrated system.The ship’s DC750 V,AC400V,AC230 V and DC24 V systems are checked and the charging system is designed,ensuring that the system design drawings can meet the requirements of the shipping inspection agency.(3)Design and analysis of DC distribution system.DC distribution power propulsion system based on integrated container battery pack is designed.Matlab software is utilized to analyze and calculate the short circuit current,coordination and harmonic of daily power supply,based on which the reasonable protection equipment is selected,so that the final design of the system can meet the requirements of specifications and usage.(4)Design and analysis of integrated control system.According to the characteristics of the ship,a set of integrated control system is designed.The integrated design of energy management and control with corresponding functions of energy management,propulsion control and system monitoring is realized,so as to reduce the cost,increase the system integration,and simplify the equipment layout of the engine room and the driving console.At the same time,while the overall renewal of the ship’s power system is carried out,the wireless monitoring control box is added to collect wireless interface signals,so that the ship can realize the function of ship-based information integration.
