Apertured web steel-concrete partially encased composite beam(apertured web PEC beam)is a new type of structural member.Compared with traditional steel-concrete beam,it combines the advantages of apertured beam and Partially Encased Concrete(PEC)beam.The opening on the web can reduce the weight of the beam and facilitate the layout of the pipeline.The partial wrapping of the section steel on the concrete can reduce the use of the formwork,and the factory prefabrication.In conclusion,the apertured web PEC beam has wide application prospects.This article focuses on the apertured web PEC beam component,from three aspects:experimental analysis,numerical simulation analysis,and calculation analysis.In terms of experimental analysis: 8 apertured web PEC beam were designed for bending tests,9apertured web PEC beam were subjected to shear tests,and 1 solid web beam was designed as a control group in bending and shear tests.In terms of numerical simulation analysis: The finite element software ABAQUS was used to simulate the test process.At the same time,the convenience of numerical simulation is used for parameter expansion analysis.In terms of calculation and analysis: Explore the calculation method of apertured web PEC beam bearing capacity based on specifications and existing research results.Through the above analysis,the main conclusions about apertured web PEC beam components are as follows:(1)The damage of apertured web PEC beam mainly occurs at the two openings at the end of the beam.The cracks develop along the direction connecting the loading point and the support,forming an angle of about 45° with the horizontal axis.(2)Increasing the strength of concrete,reducing the shear span ratio,increasing the strength of section steel,and reducing the spacing of holes can all increase the bearing capacity of apertured web PEC beam;the openings on the web and the more obvious the edges and corners of the holes will increase the opening rate,reduce the thickness of the lower flange of the section steel,and reduce the thickness of the web of the section steel will reduce the bearing capacity of apertured web PEC beam.(3)Opening holes in the web will increase the ductility of apertured web PEC beam;increasing the strength of concrete,increasing the opening rate,the more obvious the edges and corners of the holes,reducing the thickness of the lower flange of the section steel,and reducing the thickness of the section steel web will all reduce the ductility of apertured web PEC beam;there is no obvious correspondence between the shear span ratio and the ductility.(4)The simulation results of ABAQUS finite element software verify the conclusions of the experiment.The simulation value of bearing capacity is slightly larger than the experimental value,and the average error is less than 10%.The simulation results show that the main tensile stress in concrete is mainly concentrated at the hole between the loading point and the support,and the stress in section steel is mainly concentrated at the hole between the loading point and the support and above the mid-span hole.(5)It is found through calculation that,for bending members,the neutralization axis of TG-7 specimen is located at the upper flange of the section steel,while the neutralization axis of other specimens is located at the section steel web and above the hole.For the shear members,the shear span ratio has a great influence on the shear bearing capacity,so the influence of the shear span ratio should be considered,and the part of the section steel flange should also be considered in the calculation of the bearing capacity.The bearing capacity error of apertured web PEC beam is small.The calculated value of apertured web PEC beam is relatively small,and the calculation error is not more than 4.1%,while the calculated value of solid web PEC beam is relatively large,and the calculation error is not more than 6.3%.The above research results can provide reference for the further research and engineering application of apertured web PEC beam.
