The main purpose of this paper is to study the imperfection of calculation of flexural and axial capacity and shear capacity of code for design of concrete structures of china, and Eurocode2. Comprehensive analyzed and compared existing problems norms of the two countries. The following detailed description of the work done in these two areas:(1) Aspects of calculation of flexural and axial capacity:First of all, compare and analysis the calculation of flexural and axial capacity, both countries have adopted the "equivalent rectangular stress model", and carried reinforcement calculation. For this reason, it brings some problems. Depth study of Eurocode2, how to depart from the strain distribution section, and make use of the constitutive relations of concrete and steel to calculate internal force of member. Further calculated the resistance moment of section. And how to divide the possible strain distributions into five regions to correspond different stress state. Further deduced the new method of convenient and simple to calculate reinforcement member —the dimensionless graph method.Secondly, although code for design of concrete structures of china gives the constitutive relations of concrete and steel in 6.2.1, but can not fully make use of it. Only use this point of ultimate compressive strain of concrete εc=-3.3‰, which takes some problems. To this end, detailed analysis of the reasons these existing problems. Finally put forward some specific recommendations,in order to improve the norms.(2) Aspects of calculation of shear capacity: Comprehensive analyzed and compared calculation of shear capacity of code for design of concrete structure of both countries. The main purpose is profoundly understanding and learning European design specifications how make use of shear truss model to explain shear mechanism for flexural members, and adopt unified and systematic design formulas carried shear design. So that can be supply some theoretical basis for revised and improve of our country code.
