As the population at the second peak of birth in our country enters old age,the degree of aging society in our country has begun to deepen.Faced with the old-age care model based on home care and the long-term separation of the young and old generations under urbanization,how to protect the physical and mental health of the elderly has become a hot topic in today’s society.In response to the current national conditions and challenges under aging,my country’s many policy guidelines point out the need to improve the level of intelligence,expand the field of products for the elderly,and improve the quality of service supply.This paper introduces the KANO model under the service design concept to carry out design research on the elderly intelligent products.First,conduct qualitative and quantitative research on target users,and analyze the results of the research to determine the characteristics of target users through the KJ method.Secondly,draw user portraits and set the user’s day story scenario based on the research data results and find three user needs from them.Points-"health","caring","social".Then take the smart wearable device that is highly acceptable to the elderly as an example to carry out the follow-up product design practice based on the three needs and service design methods.Determine the stakeholders by analyzing the stakeholder groups of elderly users,and conduct functional questionnaire surveys to determine the functional needs of stakeholders for smart wearable devices for the elderly;use the KANO model questionnaire to conduct functional surveys on elderly users The functional requirements of elderly users for smart wearable devices.Finally,through further in-depth analysis of the service system diagram and product logic architecture process,the output of the elderly smart wearable device service system and hardware products,and the satisfaction analysis of the existing elderly smart wearable devices in the market,proves the feasibility of the product in this paper.This paper verifies the usability and reliability of introducing the KANO model into the user functional requirement analysis link under the service design concept.It provides directions for the innovation of service design methods,and also provides ideas for the design of subsequent intelligent products for the elderly.
