| Nuclear weapons can carry out large-scale attacks on vehicles,and can damage the information support system.They play a very important role in wartime,so they need to be monitored and guarded.China began to study space-based detection technology of nuclear explosion during the period of the ‘Ninth Five’ Plan,and it is still in its infancy.Based on this background,this paper studies the space-based detection method of nuclear explosion based on neutrons.Firstly,the feasibility of the space-based detection method of nuclear explosion based on neutrons is analyzed.Then,according to the generation,propagation and measurement process of neutrons,the corresponding calculation ideas of nuclear explosion location,nuclear explosion equivalent and nuclear explosion time are given..Secondly,according to the different detection principle,two calculation methods of nuclear explosion position and equivalent are proposed.One is based on the time when neutrons arrive at the satellite,and the other is based on the propagation direction of neutrons.Then the effects caused by the physical transmission loss,the shape of detector,the sampling time accuracy of system,and the material consumption in detector on the detection results of these two methods are analyzed.The results shows that,for the calculation method of space-based nuclear explosion based on the propagation direction of neutrons,the nuclear explosion location is mainly affected by the shape of the detector,the sampling time precision of the system,and the consumption of the detector material,and the nuclear explosion equivalent is mainly affected by the physical transmission loss in space.However,for the calculation method of space-based nuclear explosion based on the time when neutrons arrive at the satellite,the nuclear explosion location is mainly affected by the sampling time precision of the system,and the nuclear explosion equivalent is mainly affected by the space physical transmission loss,the shape of the detector,and the material consumption of detector.According to the analysis results of the influencing factors,the corresponding correction methods are proposed.After correction,the detection accuracy of these two methods is greatly improved.Finally,the detection results of space-based nuclear explosion are analyzed under the consideration of the factors.The results shows that,when adjusting the sampling time precision of the system within the appropriate range,the accuracy of the results of these two detection methods presented in this paper will be better than the coded hole imaging method of X-ray,the measurement method by digital camera,and the detection method of optical radiation.In addition,the calculation method of space-based nuclear explosion based on the neutron propagation direction uses fewer satellites and lower cost.But under the same parameters,the calculation method of space-based nuclear explosion based on the time when neutrons arrive at the satellite has better precision. |
