| With the rapid development of society,people put forward higher requirements for the convenience of transportation,and traffic congestion has increasingly become the main problem of the development of major cities.Under the premise of limited traffic resources in our country,the number of vehicles in our country is increasing,which makes traffic problems such as vehicle aggregation at intersections and long queue length occur frequently.Therefore,a reasonable traffic signal timing scheme is particularly important.At this stage,the design scheme of traffic timing system has been unable to meet the demand in terms of real-time and efficiency.Therefore,this paper proposes a new signal timing scheme optimization scheme of signal timing.In this paper,from the perspective of control science,although the current traffic light fixed timing strategy is simple and easy to use,it can not adapt to the problem of long queue caused by traffic flow changes.Firstly,taking single intersection as the research object,Webster timing method is used to adjust the best signal period of each phase by detecting the total traffic flow arriving at each phase And green time,so as to reduce the queue length of vehicles and improve the traffic capacity of the road.Then,combined with the real-time and efficient characteristics of PID algorithm,the main road of a single intersection can be adjusted separately,and the main road of a single intersection can be optimized.The results show that both Webster timing method and PID adjusting method can reduce the queue length and improve the traffic efficiency.Then taking the road intersection on a main road as the optimization research object,the Webster timing method and PID adjustment method are used to optimize the five continuous intersections respectively,and the peak and low peak periods are discussed respectively.The ideas of pre adjustment and joint adjustment are used to dynamically adjust the main road of single intersection and multiple intersections on the main road respectively,and the results are the best Then the static time allocation method,Webster time allocation method and PID adjustment method are analyzed and compared with the queue length as the index.The results show that the method used in this paper can enhance the traffic capacity of the main road in real time and efficiently,and play an improvement and optimization role in reducing the waste of green time and the queue length at the intersection. |
