In recent years,with the acceleration of the urbanization process,the urban road traffic congestion is gradually prominent.As the main source of traffic conflict,road intersection is often the bottleneck in the operation of urban road network traffic flow.There are many kinds of traffic organization forms of urban road intersections in China,among them,multi-path intersections are influenced by many social and historical factors,their traffic flow direction is complex,the setting of road corner and turning radius is unreasonable,and the setting of signal phase is more,which results in the waste of time and resources,which seriously affects the orderly and efficient operation of multi-path intersections,even the whole road network The traffic situation is "paralyzed",but also accompanied by potential traffic safety hazards.The research content of this paper is based on the plane structure design and signal timing of multi-channel intersection,mainly from the following three parts:(1)In this paper,a scheme of decentralized signal organization for multi-channel intersections is proposed.Firstly,the traffic organization and flow data of multiple intersections in China are collected.Using VISSIM simulation software to analyze the service level of traditional five way intersection under the condition of traffic flow equilibrium in each direction of multi-way intersection.Secondly,aiming at the existing problems,this paper proposes a structural optimization method to reduce the complexity of intersections,and introduces "connecting roads".Finally,the improved scheme is re simulated and analyzed.The test results show that the scheme is feasible and the optimal size of the intersection is obtained.(2)Signal timing of multiple intersections based on CTM.First,according to the basic principle and model of cell transmission model,construct the "Pentagon" five way intersection CTM model,then,take the minimum delay time as the objective function,consider the shortest time constraints of traffic lights and the constraints of adjacent cell transmission relationship,construct the optimization model of time allocation scheme based on CTM,finally use matlab platform to solve the linear model and carry out case analysis,find out To the optimal green time of each phase.(3)Special case analysis.Considering that in the actual road network,due to the emergence of some uncontrollable factors,there is a situation where there is an entrance road but no flow at the intersection.The overall research content is based on the background of emergency evacuation of vehicles in a certain place in the city,taking five way intersection with only two entrances as an example,considering the optimization scheme of this special situation.Using the structural design scheme mentioned in Chapter 3,but improving the timing scheme,the optimal improvement scheme for five way intersection with only two entrances and traffic flow is obtained.Compared with the traditional five-way intersection,the multi-way intersection decentralized signal organization scheme proposed in this paper increases vehicle channelization guidance,thus reducing the traffic conflict between vehicles;compared with the multi-way intersection circular traffic organization,the one-way traffic organization in the island is adjusted to two-way traffic organization,reducing the left turn traffic distance of the entrance road.The test results show that the delay time of vehicles passing through the intersection with the new structural design scheme is relatively less,which achieves the effect of improving the operation condition of the intersection.
