In recent years,many cities have established new urban districts in order to expand their scale.With the gradual development of new districts,the traffic attraction and traffic demand of the new districts continue to increase.The new districts and the connections between the new and the original urban areas mainly rely on public transportation.Reasonable bus network planning can effectively improve the efficiency and service level of public transportation,giving full play to the maximum benefits of public transportation and meeting people’s travel needs.This paper studies the bus network planning of the new urban area,and studies the bus demand forecast,the establishment of the bus network planning model and the evaluation of the planning scheme.This paper introduces the bus GPS data and the IC card data,analyzing the characteristics of public transportation and the current situation of residents in Xi’an.This paper establishes a Multi-Distance spatial cluster model and analyzes the traffic POI analysis of the study area,finding the relationship between the land use and the traffic hot spots,calculating an appropriate spatial scale for dividing the traffic districts.Use the bus GPS data and IC card data to match and calculate the passengers’boarding stations and alighting stations and obtain the bus card OD and the travel rate of the traffic districts.Establish a multiple regression model to predict the public transportation OD in the future and calculate the public transportation forecast OD matrix.In this paper,the bus network is planned and evaluated.Analyze the principles of optimization of the bus network,and find out the constraints of bus routes and bus network planning according to the principles.Screening the influencing factors of the impedance in bus lines,build a core density model to find out the relationship between the land use and the impedance,then,establish a bus line resistance model.Organizing the optimization objectives of the bus network,establish the function with the least cost as the objective function of the upper-level planning model.Comparing different passenger flow allocation models,choose to use the improved Logit model as the objective function of the lower-level planning model.Build the bi-level programming and give the solving steps based on genetic algorithms.Finally,this article selects the evaluation indicators and establishes the evaluation system of the bus network from the three evaluation:perspectives of environmental protection,fairness and accessibility.Taking the Chanba Ecological District in Xi’an as an example for analysis,the validity and practicability of the model are verified.
