Most ancient towns in my country have a long history of development and are closely related to the natural ecological environment.The overall layout of the ancient town is an important spatial form that reflects the regional characteristics and cultural charm.At present,in the macro environment of urbanization,most ancient towns in China have been damaged during construction and development.And because most of the ancient towns did not fully explore the cultural content and value of the traditional space during the protection,and did not pay attention to the inheritance of the regional context and the discovery of vitality,the existing problems of the ancient towns’ spatial characteristics were blurred and the development vitality was lacking.The name of the Shenhou is derived from the sky constellation,which means the integration of water and fire,prosperity and development.Because of its geographical location and long-term economic strength accumulation,after opening to the outside world,the overall development of villages and towns has been rapid.The rapid economic development brought about industrial pollution and improper development,which caused the ancient town to lose its original appearance,and the inheritance of traditional culture was deeply affected.In this situation,exploring the protection,heritage and long-term stable development model of the ancient town has become the focus.Based on the above research background and purpose,the dissertation first studied the related concepts and background of the subject,combined with the current research status at home and abroad,and clarified the research direction and thinking.Starting from the overview of Shenhou Ancient Town,it introduces the geographical location,natural environment,historical lineage and other aspects of the ancient town,analyzes and sorts out the basic research parts,and studies the spatial pattern of Shenhou Ancient Town in detail from three aspects: macro,meso and micro.And lay the foundation for the next chapter to study residential architecture.In the study of traditional residential buildings,through a summary and comparison with other courtyard-style residential buildings,the peculiarities of the residential buildings in the ancient town of Shenhou were explained.Secondly,based on the previous research content,the ancient town was explored at the cultural level of the ancient town.Starting from the cultural background study,the cultural expression in the traditional dwellings of the ancient town of Shenhou was analyzed in detail,and the landscaping ideas,principles,materials,and materials of the ancient town of Shenhou were summarized.skill.Finally,combined with the current status quo issues,the main objectives,principles and specific ideas of the traditional space protection and inheritance planning and design of the ancient town are clarified.Through the above research content,this paper designs a detailed plan for the protection of ancient towns,that is,to formulate specific plans based on the ancient town’s landscaping thought as the core guiding principle of protection.In the design plan,the unique traditional spatial language form and cultural spiritual content of the region are incorporated,combined with cultural activities,the correct planning and development of the ancient town’s traditional space tourism products,so as to achieve the living heritage of the culture,and to activate the vitality of the ancient town’s traditional space development.To positively influence.
