Research On Financial Performance Evaluation Of HY Company Based On EVA

Finance is the core component of a company,and financial performance evaluation is the soul of enterprise operation and management.Nowadays,with the rapid development of social science and technology and logistics information,the competition among companies is also increasingly intensified,and the management of companies is also facing major challenges.The financial performance evaluation of a company is very important to the development of a company,the enhancement of competitiveness and the increase of capital.In recent years,due to the continuous emergence of new financing models,the rapid development of the railway transport industry has also brought some problems: the annual increase in the asset-liability ratio has brought about insufficient cash flow,thereby increasing the financial risk;The increasing operating costs gradually reduce the profitability;Revenues exceed expenditures are common in the rail industry.As a listed company in modern transportation industry,HY company can only solve this problem by mastering advanced business management methods,especially financial management methods.This paper takes HY Company,a listed railway transportation company,as the research object,and from the perspective of investors,surveys the research status of domestic and foreign scholars on financial performance and economic added value,expounds the general situation of HY Company and the current financial performance management status,and makes clear the necessity of introducing EVA.On the one hand,according to the idea and principle of introducing EVA,the financial performance system framework is established,and the financial indicators are assigned by the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),scored by the efficiency coefficient method,and comprehensively evaluated and analyzed.On the other hand,the comprehensive comparison and analysis on the HY company,from the traditional financial performance evaluation index and sasac enterprises performance standard comparing two aspects of evaluation,analysis the existing problems in the development of HY company,mainly has equity capital accounts for larger,the low operating efficiency of assets,assets operation efficiency is low,the enterprise value unceasingly eroded,etc.;Finally,this paper puts forward countermeasures to improve HY’s financial performance:optimize the capital structure of the company,reduce equity capital,improve operating efficiency,increase profitability,increase operating income,reasonably control costs and establish a salary incentive system with EVA as the core.The research of this paper is helpful to improve the financial performance of HY Company,promote the development of HY Company,and provide an important reference for other railway companies.
