Magnetorheological damper(MRD)is an ideal damping element that can provide controllable damping force.It has the characteristics of strong adaptability,reliable work,stable labor and easy control.It has shown great application potential in the field of semi-active control.Based on the research background of structural vibration control,this paper conducts theoretical analysis,numerical simulation and experimental testing on the damping characteristics of the new type of pore valve MRD.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the constitutive relationship of the Bingham body,a flow model of magnetorheological fluid in a single-porous damping channel is established,and then pseudo-static analysis of the damping force of the single-row multi-channel and double-row multi-channel pore valve MRD are carried out.Based on the constitutive relationship of the Bingham body,a flow model of magnetorheological fluid in a single-hole damping channel is established,and then pseudo-static analysis and modeling of the damping force of the single-row multi-channel and double-row multi-channel pore valve MRD are carried out.Simplified the volume flow equation using the non-dimensional replacement method,and obtained the true solution of the non-dimensional equation by using the algebraic equation theory.Finally,two theoretical expressions for the calculation of the MRD damping force were obtained.(2)According to the two damping force calculation models,the damping characteristics of the single-row multi-channel and double-row multi-channel pore valve MRD are compared by numerical simulation.The results show that the double-row multi-channel pore valve MRD has a larger damping force adjustable range.The influence of the structural parameters of the damper and the performance parameters of the magnetorheological fluid on the damping characteristics of the MRD is analyzed,and the difference between the damping force output and the adjustable range of the pore valve and the ring valve MRD is compared.(3)The structure design and magnetic circuit analysis of the pore valve MRD are carried out,the structure and materials of the special parts are determined,and the single-row multi-channel and double-row multi-channel pore valve MRDs have been developed respectively.The damping force test has been completed through the test and verified theoretical analysis concluded that the results show that the pore valve MRD of the two structures can meet the working requirements and can output the optimal damping force.The research contents and conclusions of this paper can be used to guide the structural design of the pore valve MRD and provide theoretical basis for its practical application.
