From the perspective of steam education,this article will study the interior design of children’s learning spaces.This article refers to the related research results of steam education courses and textbooks at home and abroad,in order to establish an indoor learning space suitable for innovative children’s training methods,and explore the design methods of domestic kindergarten children’s training space.The main purpose of this article is as follows.First,from the perspective of steam education that explores the feasibility of children’s learning space design,we verify and emphasize steam education as an educational concept that deals with the relationship between children’s learning space and children.Focus on the children and understand the problem from the children’s point of view.Second,through the research activities of some kindergartens in the Pearl River Delta,in order to understand the problem,from the perspective of steam education theory,this article summarizes the characteristics of the steam education space,and puts forward the following suggestions:Modern children learn indoors The platform develops indoor learning spaces based on the strengths and weaknesses of kindergarten children.According to the design principles of children’s learning space and excellent design examples,this article lists feasible design strategies.The main content of this paper is divided into five parts:(1)Regarding the theoretical research part,I analyzed the related concepts of steam education and children’s learning space,and then summarized them.Statistics show that the number of children receiving education in China is huge,and the number is increasing year by year.The learning environment greatly guides children’s cognitive actions and habits,which in turn affects the future development of their learning environment.(2)The research part selected two kindergartens and facilities related to steam education in the Pearl River Delta as the research website.Through the observation of modern children’s indoor learning space,combined with examples of domestic and foreign excellent children’s indoor learning spaces,this article summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of modern children’s indoor learning spaces.(3)The comprehensive analysis part can understand the meaning and core concepts of steam education through related research on steam education at home and abroad,analyze the characteristics of steam education mode and steam teaching materials,and summarize its characteristics.Steam education.Steam education space.(4)In the part of design and inspiration,the characteristics of STEAM education space are summarized by referring to the relevant research results of STEAM education tutorials and teaching AIDS at home and abroad,and corresponding design principles and strategies are proposed based on the analysis of modern children’s indoor learning space.(5)The design practice part is to design and practice a kindergarten in Guangzhou based on the STEAM education perspective to create a multi-functional composite indoor learning space as a design concept,which is intended to create an indoor learning space suitable for innovative child training models.
