| In recent years, the construction of villages and towns in China has entered a new period of development, with the city’s advanced technology, rich industries and diversified culture increasingly penetrating into the villages and towns. However, the spontaneous construction brought by urbanization has caused serious ecological problems and disturbed the ecosystem of traditional villages and towns. The water network environment is closely related to the ecosystem, and the water area is constantly occupied,so the ecological deterioration of the water environment is particularly prominent.Yaowan ancient town,as a traditional town in Northern Jiangsu Province,is built on and prospered by water. It has unique and rich environmental resources and a long cultural history. It has become a leading area for the development of tourism industry in Northern Jiangsu. However, the water ecological environment in this area is facing unprecedented risks and impacts. The water network space has been unable to withstand the adverse interference of external factors. The ancient town has gradually lost its original ecological advantages and is facing the current situation of water network shrinkage. This article takes Yaowan ancient town as the main research object, combines field research and historical data, and analyzes the evolution of the ancient town’s water network space at different times, and introduces resilience thinking into the optimization and update of the ancient town’s water network space to effectively solve the problem of water network space in the ancient town. The current situation of the lack of network resilience.Through the integration of the traditional planning wisdom and resilience theory of the ancient town’s scientific system, the original characteristics of the ancient town’s water network space are protected, the cultural and historical connotations of the ancient town are continued, and the preventive and anti-interference ability of the ancient town’s water network space against potential risks is strengthened. At the same time, following the principles of resilience planning, the water network space construction system of "resilience + ecology + function +landscape" replaces the previous "river + function" model, reconstructing the water network context with multiple resilience dimensions. On the basis of judging the spatial function and service of the water network, constructing and developing effective landscape resources, controlling and protecting key ecological nodes, coordinating the spatial structure of the multi-dimensional water network, constructing an associated path for the resilience of the water network and proposing a specific water network in the ancient town of Yaowan The spatial optimization design strategy embodies the dynamic and sustainable cycle of "maintenance adaptation transformation" of the water network ecological environment. In summary, with the development of water network resilience as the starting point, the ecological advantages will be promoted to drive the overall optimization and renewal of Yaowan Ancient Town.Eventually, the realization of "city and water interdependence, harmony between people and water" has alleviated the conflict between construction activities and the ecological environment,in order to provide new development ideas for the current complex environment of the village and town water network environment. It provides a reference for the spatial planning and construction of the water network of the villages and towns in northern Jiangsu and even the construction of the water environment in other regions of the country. |
