| At present, new energy vehicles are entering our daily lives and becoming an independent development direction in the automotive industry.Due to the outstanding environmental protection and high-efficiency advantages of new energy vehicles, the development of the new energy vehicle industry has received strong support from the governments of major countries. These countries have issued many industrial policies to support the development of new energy vehicles, but there are industrial policies in different countries. The difference and the development status of its new energy automobile industry are also different. So,do different industrial policies affect the market performance of the new energy automobile industry in different countries?Based on this, this article focuses on the three major auto markets of China, the United States, and Germany.Based on the evolution of new energy vehicle industry policies in China, the United States, and Germany,it focuses on a comparative analysis of the three countries’ new energy vehicle industries from the perspective of policy concepts and policy tools.Similarities and differences in policies.Among them, the conclusions of the policy support tool research show that the capital-intensive and innovation-dependent industries, especially the automobile industry, are characterized by low-profit levels,so it is reasonable to provide financial support to them. The development of legislation in the field of technical regulations, including the formulation of special standards for mechanical engineering products, may become an important part of relevant market regulations in specific countries. From the comparison of the evolution of the three countries,it can be seen that, contrary to the United States,China is mainly stimulating the development of China’s electric vehicles at the national level, while the municipal authorities play a secondary role.Germany promotes the development of electric vehicles mainly at the national level.Since Germany is a member of the European Union, the government must abide by the restrictions set by the European Union when developing an incentive system for the development of electric vehicles.Judging from the performance of the new energy vehicle market, the industrial impact of China, the United States, and Germany’s new energy vehicle industry policies are different, and the effect of the industrial policy is restricted by technical factors such as batteries.Due to the Chinese government’s vigorous development of environmentally friendly transportation,China’s electric vehicle market is growing faster than other countries. In general, the national industrial policy plays an important but not decisive role in expanding the new energy vehicle market.Despite political differences, the future industrial policies of various countries will lie in increasing the potential for technological innovation, creating a new sectoral ecosystem, promoting industrial integration and development, improving the infrastructure system, and deepening openness and cooperation. |
