Research On The Design Of University Library Environment Renovation In Wuhan

This article mainly takes the existing university libraries in Wuhan as the research object,and studies the environmental transformation design of the existing university libraries in Wuhan.The built environment cannot adapt to the changes of the times.In the process of using many college libraries established in the last century,their spatial function organization and spatial structure gradually exposed their shortcomings,which could no longer meet the needs of college library staff.The design of the university library has received attention in the new library,but there is still a lack of in-depth research on the design of the original university library environment transformation.This article aims at enhancing the discussion and exchange,learning environment,and information socialization of teachers and students in colleges and universities,and discusses the principles and methods of space renovation and function expansion of existing libraries in colleges and universities.First,the macro background of the development of colleges and universities and the development situation of college libraries are elaborated.The motivation of the space reform and function expansion of existing libraries in colleges and universities is systematically analyzed.Secondly,it explores the design examples of domestic and foreign excellent library environment transformation design,and puts forward the inevitability and feasibility of updating the existing libraries in colleges and universities.Finally,by studying the new needs of the user population,the indoor and outdoor environment of the university library will be spatially integrated,and the relevant design principles and technologies will be used to improve the university library is transportation channels,information media,functions and decorative facilities to provide people with A more relaxed,convenient and comfortable library space environment.Summarizing the above design concepts and design methods,the library of Wuhan Institute of Technology Liufang Campus was renovated and designed to meet the new demands of the environment and design of college libraries,and pointed out the future development trend and prospect of college libraries.The use of the above ideas and methods of the environmental reconstruction design of college libraries can effectively improve the deficiencies of the current college library environment,and provide a certain reference value for the development of college library environmental transformation design.
