As the ecological environment continues to deteriorate,climate and energy are a major problem faced by humans worldwide.Building energy conservation is an extremely important part of it.By2018,the area of agricultural buildings in China was 22.9 billion square meters,accounting for 38.1%of the total building area in the country,and the commodity energy consumption in rural areas reached 216 million tce,accounting for 22% of the total energy consumption in the country,illustrating the importance of energy conservation in agricultural buildings in China.With the growth of farmers’ living standard and economic income,rural residents in Gannan area are increasing their requirements for thermal comfort of farm houses,and the energy consumed for heating and cooling of farm houses is also increasing.Therefore,the focus of the current work on farm houses in Gannan region is to adopt practical green building strategies,reduce building energy consumption while ensuring the thermal comfort of farm houses,and make full use of local renewable energy,so as to design green and energy-efficient farm houses suitable for Gannan and provide reference for the energy-saving construction of farm houses in China.In order to find out the actual problems of farmhouses in Gannan,this study found through questionnaire interviews and field research that the main problems of poor thermal comfort of farmhouses in Gannan are caused by poor thermal insulation of the exterior envelope and unreasonable planform strategies,while the renewable energy production in farmhouses is abundant but not reasonably utilized,while the improvement of living standards and the increase of young villagers lead to the increasing building energy consumption.The results of the research further clarify the correctness of the strategy research in terms of thermal comfort and renewable energy.Combining the relevant green building codes with the authors’ actual research results,the indoor thermal comfort range is determined,and the design strategy optimization of the plan form and envelope of the typical farmhouse is carried out through software simulation analysis,mainly from the additional sun room,body shape coefficient,building orientation,non-transparent envelope,transparent envelope and roof,to find out the law of its action in hot summer and cold winter climate.Based on the current situation of abundant renewable energy in rural houses in Ganan,and guided by the principles of ecological adaptability,passive energy conservation and sustainable development,the study verifies whether solar water heating system,solar photovoltaic system,biomass consolidation technology and biomass gasification technology are universally applicable in rural areas of Ganan by comparing their cost investment and energy saving benefits.By reasonably using the thermal comfort and renewable energy design strategies studied in the previous paper,two green farmhouses with high and low cost are designed based on the affordable cost of farmers and local cultural characteristics,and their effectiveness and rationality are analyzed and verified through software simulation of indoor thermal environment and energy saving analysis.This green and energy-efficient farmhouse design provides both a design solution reference for new farmhouses in rural Ganan and some substantial help for energy conservation in rural areas of China.
