Cardiac pacing technology came out in 1932,and it was successfully applied for the first time in 1952.Nowadays,the technical level of cardiac pacemaker has developed rapidly along with the progress of microelectronic technology,sealing material technology and battery energy technology.The research on cardiac pacemakers in China started in the 1960 s.Although a large number of excellent achievements have been obtained,the design and production capacity of the pacemakers in China always lag behind developed countries such as Europe and the United States due to the lack of key technologies and financial support.In recent years,with the aging of the population and the acceleration of urbanization,the prevalence of cardiovascular disease risk has increased in China.The increasing number of arrhythmia patients must increase people’s demand for pacemakers.However,the domestic market has been occupied by foreign manufacturers for a long time,only a few companies design and produce pacemakers,and the market share of domestic companies is very low.Therefore,the study of cardiac pacemaker system is very important,so this paper based on the traditional single-chamber pacemaker to carry out in-depth research on cardiac pacemaker.In this paper,according to the requirements of the national standard GB16174.2-2015 pacemaker,the design,simulation and test of each unit module of the pacemaker are carried out,including the ECG sensing module,pulse generator module,power monitoring module,wireless communication module and circuit protection module.Due to the different conditions of patients,the parameters of the pacemaker need to be regulated,so this paper designed the pacemaker in the pacing frequency,pulse amplitude,pulse width,refractory period and perceptual sensitivity and other parameters should be accurate and adjustable.The wireless communication of cardiac pacemaker is designed by Bluetooth(BLE),and the upper computer of Bluetooth communication is designed to achieve program control and telemetry functions,as well as the function of parameter display and safety warning.The pacemaker system can enter different working states according to the different settings of parameters of the upper computer in Bluetooth communication,and can be converted between SSI(Single cavity pacing/perception,inhibition mode)and SOO(Single cavity asynchronous mode).The pacemaker frequency can be adjusted between30~160ppm,and the pulse amplitude can be adjusted between 0.5~7.5V.The pulse width can be adjusted between 0.06~1.80 ms,the cardiac perceptual sensitivity can be adjusted by setting 8 gears in 1~10m V,and the refractory period can be adjusted between 150~500ms.It has the functions of power monitoring and magnetic field protection.In addition to realizing the functions of traditional pacemakers,the single-chamber pacemaker system designed in this paper is accurate and controllable for multiple pacemaker parameters.Besides,a data communication and PC software system for data interaction between the upper computer and the pacemaker is designed,which has important reference value for the subsequent function and performance research of the pacemaker.
