The gantry crane is widely used in various occasions of social production.With the development of economy,on the one hand,more and more gantry cranes are put into use,on the other hand,the requirements for safe production are constantly improving.Therefore,it is very important to study the design reliability of gantry crane.The gantry crane is a complex structure which is welded by metal plates.The reliability of the structure can reflect the reliability of the whole gantry crane to some extent,so it is very important to calculate the reliability.Response surface methodology(RSM)is a method for reliability calculation of complex structures with no explicit expression and highly nonlinear relationship between input and output variables.Genetic algorithm(GA)is a modern intelligent algorithm widely used in limit value solving.In this paper,genetic algorithm is used to replace the iterative part of RSM to solve the reliability data,and a new method to improve the RSM to calculate the structural reliability is formed.The example shows that this kind of improvement can greatly improve the efficiency of reliability calculation.The reliability of the same model is solved by the classical Monte Carlo method,and the effectiveness of the improved response surface method is verified.This paper takes gantry crane as the research object,uses visual programming language,uses dimension drive method,establishes the gantry crane gantry frame structure parameterized solid model based on 3D modeling software.It is imported into the finite element analysis software to establish the finite element mechanical model of the gantry structure,and the response surface model based on genetic algorithm is built to solve the gantry crane structure based on the data exchange processing between the software for many times,and the reliability is obtained to analyze the reliability of the structure.In this paper,the improved response surface method(RSM)calculation program and model parameterization program are compiled to form an analysis system for calculating the structural reliability of a series of gantry cranes.As long as a series of parameters required for modeling,calculation and analysis are input into the corresponding window of the system,the reliability of the designed portal frame structure can be obtained.It avoids the disadvantages of the safety factor given by experience and provides a definite reliability result for the design of portal frame structure.The structural reliability analysis system of gantry crane improves the design efficiency,and also improves the safety of gantry crane operation site to some extent.In this paper,a new method for calculating the structural reliability of gantry crane is presented,and a series of structural reliability analysis system of double-beam gantry crane based on the improved response surface method is developed,and its effectiveness is verified by an engineering example.The system can improve the efficiency of new product development and has high engineering application value.
